Description
The HelmetLok Gen II Helmet Lock With T-Bar lets you secure either a D-ring helmet or a ratchet-style quick-release helmet with the addition of the nifty T-Bar. Easy-to-use carabiner-style lock slips onto most bikes. For use with helmets with quick-release straps, simply slip the T-Bar, hole first, through the buckle and fit the carabiner through the hole in the T-Bar. Then lock onto your bike and enjoy the security.

Too thick for Shoei Neotec 2
Bought 2 of these for our Shoei Neotec 2 only to find that it says right on the package "Will not fit some Shoei hellmets". While the T-bar was narrow enough to fit the ratchet they were too thick to go though.

Very convenient
I missed having a built-in helmet lock on my current motorcycle. This is a great substitute, you can attach it anywhere since it has a large opening.

Great gadget
Used the helmetlok 2 a few times now, easy to use and doesn't take up much room in my tank bag, if you don't have a top box to put your helmet in, then this lock is the next best thing.

T bar softer than a spoon
If you're using the Tbar to lock your helmet, be assured that a thief doesn't need much force to break it in half.

T-Bar gets your helmet stolen.
T-bar is made of thin and non treated aluminum. Easier to break than a metal spoon. The lock itself is decent but the T-bar is literaly too cheap to use.

Peace of mind
I own a Shoei GT Air helmet which the clip for this fits in just fine. The buckle is large enough to fit around most places on the bike so you have options where you prefer to hang your helmet along with the rubber sleeve to avoid any scratches or wear. For me it's just a peace of mind that I can leave my helmet behind and not have to wonder if someone would take off with it.

My helmet is a Shoei Neotec 2. Can you confirm that the T-bar that comes with the Helmetlok will fit through the micro ratchet buckle of the Neotec 2.
Big no on this for both Shoei Neotec and Air 2. Unfortunately I bought this and and doesn't work on my Air 2.
