Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best features and good quality I bought it this summer to replace my old HJC full face helmet. Very happy with the helmet especially with the drop down visor. Pretty light, the noise is acceptable even at higher speeds. I got the red/black/grey Troky model which seems to match well with almost any colour of motorcycle. Is a really good quality helmet for the price.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from You get what you pay for 4,000 KM’s later: Good: - very good integrated sun visor - stable at higher speeds - very solid clear visor Bad: - very very very noisy (low pitch consistent wind whistles as of 30km/h) gets unberable after two hrs or so, and I wear motorcycle dedicated ear plugs. Unwearable without earplus, on top of wind whistles, there is an echo and the helmet resonates and amplifies all sounds, just closibg the visor creates an amplified echo and resonates. I own three helmets (Suommy, Icon, HJC) And none is this noisy nor requires the earplugs - shallow (chin tends to get out of the helmet) - narrowed vertical vision

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Love my HJC’s ….but not this one! I have a few HJC helmets. They are a great fit for me and are usually the best bang for your buck. This helmet, the C70 is a tight fit, can live with that….but my oh my is it ever LOUD. Far too much wind noise. Anything over 60 km’s is hard on the ears. I actually wear ear buds because of this. As stated, love my other HJC’s but not this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic entry level helmet Having used a CL17 previously, and then moving on to an AGV, i found the HJC to be more comfortable for my head shape. At $104, the quality that the HJC C70 offers is fantastic. I needed a helmet for my MSF course and I couldnt get a better one for the price. The helmet comes with a double D fastening and is DOT rated. No sign of the ECE markings anywhere on the helmet including the fastening straps. My head size is 56 cms and I got a small and it fits perfectly snug even with a thin lycra balaclava. This does not come with a chin curtain and had to order it separately from Fortnine itself for $6. Would recommend this to anyone buying an entry level helmet. Fortnine couldn’t have provided a better delivery experience. Ordered on 13th May and received it on 15th May in Toronto. It also had the lowest price to any online store/ physical stores in Canada.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really good helmet, light weight and good fit Very nice fit, easy to install my Bluetooth comms and quite light weight in the road-rides. The visor helps well to block the bright sunlight. It is my first HJC helmet and I will vertainly buy again in my next purchase.

Place for the speakers....yes / no ???

Asked by: Mario
No speaker cut outs. You can still put speakers in there but there may be more pressure against your ears as there are no indents for the speakers.

Does this helmet have cutouts for speakers

Asked by: Aidtheshade
I have this exact helmet and I can tell you it does not have speaker cutouts, I tried installing speakers anyway but it made the helmet very uncomfortable.

The attaching strap, is it the clip kind or the 2 metal ring kind.

Asked by: scooter
There are two metal rings. The end of the strap also has a snap to attach back to itself so it's not flapping in the wind

The UK SHARP website gives the C70 its highest 5 star rating, but I do not see it as ECE certified in North America, what gives? Different versions?

Asked by: Steve
They likely don't get their North American batches ECE certify. ECE requires each manufacturing batch to have a sample tested to guard against potential manufacturing errors.
