Description
Pinlock 70 insert lens for helmets that use the HJ-07/HJ-09/HJ-17 face shields, such as the HJC C91/CL-17/CL-Max 3/CS-R3/IS-Max 2 helmets.
Features:
- Enhanced with fog resistant properties that increase the fog free endurance of the lens
- Includes a slit to keep the insert lens steady and tight between the face shield and pin
- The silicone seal creates a double shield system between the helmet face shield and Pinlock insert lens
- Features a dry hydrophilic technology membrane surface that absorbs moisture

Doesn't fit
Installed about 2 weeks ago.Partially obstruction vision in upper location.Pinlock sits about 3/4" down from top of opening. Sent photos to Fortnite and Pinlock.
Fortnite
"Unfortunately, we do not have the installation instructions for that Pinlock lens. Sorry about that. Tryreaching out to Pinlock, they will be able to help."
Pinlock :
"The shape of the lens is formed to the visor and our R&D team always tries to get the maximum out of visor.
I have crosschecked the shape of your lens with our drawings, and you have the correct lens.
Unfortunately, there is not much more to do here."

Not bad, not great
It does what it says but I am not a big fan. I find that the top of the lens sits in part of my field of view. I also find that this is pretty fragile in that it is easy to mar the lens.
I think I will go for the breath box as this should prevent fogging without needing to be replaced every few years, it won't impact my field of view, and it should be more durable.

Can't go without using one
Pin lock came standard on my last helmet but was an accessory for my new one. After using one for several years I found that I couldn't do without one. Easy to install and really stops the visor fogging up.

Un peu petit pour ma visière la bordure du haut me fait une ligne dans mon champ de vision. Le fonctionnement contre la condensation est excellent à 10Celcius.

HJC C91 Pinlock perfect fit
This is my first helmet with a pinlock insert and it's a game changer! This was super easy to install. If you mess up the first time, like I did, you have plenty of time to remove and try again. The pinlock removes all of the fog in my visor on my early morning commutes.

Wish I bought one years ago
This thing is awesome. I’ve heard of them for year but thought the price was a bit too much and seriously how good could it be? It’s amazing, I couldn’t fog this up no matter how hard I tried. I’ve ridden in the rain and in below freezing temperatures purposely breathing hard to try and get it to fog up and failed. I really do wish I bought one years ago.

Anti fog pin lock insert that works well
HJC modular helmet prone to fogging up when faceplate in closed position.
Problem solved using this pinlock lens.
Read instructions prior to attempting insertion and you will find insertion and removal ( for cleaning ) easy to do. Hint - flatten original face shield face down on protective surface eg flannel towel. Clean face shield prior to insertion of pinlock insert. Decal on pinlock insert to be on lower right for correct orientation.
