dont but matte
good fit comfy but do not buy matte its impossible to keep clean and hand oil is a bugger to get off

Most comfortable helmet I have worn
Other helmets made it look as if I had an umbrella on my head. This one looks very sleek, the zip on pad makes it warm on the ears in the colder weather.

Good helmet for the price
I bought this after looking for an inexpensive half helmet, and going to a local bike shop and trying one on.
They didn't have the matte black that I wanted in stock, so I ordered through FortNine, and it was delivered in about three days.
I like the zip off liner, I can keep it in the saddlebag and zip it on if it gets chilly.
One drawback is the visor is so short, it is basically ineffective as any kind of sun shield, and may as well not even be there.

Just as advertised
I recently bought this helmet in white, and it's exactly what I expected. It's light and the size chart worked perfectly (I have a bit of an oval shaped head). It's very comfortable to wear. I like the neck curtain for warmth when needed, and removed for better air flow when not. A more expensive HJC helmet had a drop down visor and neck curtain which I liked when I had a similar helmet a few years ago. I had to choose one or the other so I went with the neck curtain.

Pressure points
The helmet was too tight with pressure points on each side. I measured my head at the low side of medium and a medium helmet was too small. Returned this helmet and bought a CKX VG-500 which is more comfortable.

OMG. Where can you get a HJC helmet for this price
Just bought a new sxs and of course I have no idea where my helmet is. Was looking for a xs and this Helmet came up 1/2 price even!!!. Fits like a glove. Pretty darn comfortable.

does this helmet come with a drop down visor?
It does not, it also fits much larger than you'd think. I bought a medium for my gf, but it fit me (size 7 1/2).
