First New Helmet
Just got this helmet in the mail the other day. Processing time took a week but showed up 3 days after. Bought a used modular helmet years ago and was content with it. Could never justify buying new. Too expensive. I had no idea what i was missing. The i10 Taze was the best purchase Comfortable, excellent visibility, the air vents kept my head cool and sound was at least 5x quieter. Bought the smoke visor. Couldnt have been happier with the results.

Fits Great
My new HJC i10 helmet arrived safely and quickly. The sizing chart was very helpful and the helmet fits perfect. Because of the sizing chart I ordered the helmet one size smaller than my old HJC helmet that I replaced. The new helmet fits snugger but is perfect and will protect better now that I'm fitted properly.
It is SNELL approved as advertised and looks great. The many air flow vents in the helmet will be greatly appreciated on the hot summer rides. The channels in the padding for my glasses are perfect.

Quality, top to bottom.
I’ll be honest. What brought me to Fort Nine was Ryan’s video’s....and I don’t even own a bike! There is do much to learn from his vids that can be applied to other motorsports. Anyway, I ordered an HJC i10 Maze helmet for snowmobiling. The service was prompt and the helmet superb. A Snell rated helmet for this price is incredible. I’ll buy from here again merely to help fund more vids from Ryan,

A Decent Budget Friendly Helmet
I bought this helmet a 10 months ago and waited some time before writing a review, to make sure I had some quality time with this product.
First off in my eyes this helmet looks awesome. I like that it's pretty much a solid color with just a touch of hi viz yellow to make it pop.
The good is that the helmet isn't to heavy and it provides decent ventilation so your head doesn't get to warm. You also get good visibility and for the price the helmet seems well made and is comfortable.
The bad for me is this. The helmet for me runs small, not in the head size, but in the cheek padding. I know that I'm supposed to look like a chipmunk but I did find the cheek padding excessive. After wearing the helmet for about 20 hrs the cheek pads compressed a little but still not enough in my opinion. I can easily bite the inside of my cheeks to this very day if I hit a bump and I've got over 150 hrs on this helmet now. I keep telling myself to replace the cheek pads with one with less thickness. So the small and large helmets come with 35mm cheek pads and the medium and xl helmets come with 30mm cheek pads. The good thing is the pads are interchangeable so I may order the 30mm pads. The other thing is the wind noise is a bit loud. My Nolan helmet was more quiet, but the HJC isn't excessively loud, but it's something to be aware of.
Overall I can recommend this helmet if you are looking for something nice and comfy that is not to expensive. Just be mindful of the tight fit and wind noise.

Great helmet
I bought the high vis strix (yellow stripes)
I will start with cons as there are so few
- high vis areas fade fast (1.5 months in, its half faded)
- brow vent cracked off after a month randomly
-little snug around the jaw/cheeks (could be my head shape)
- doesn’t come with a chin curtain
Pros
- The helmet fits true to size
- DOT and snell certified
- quick and easy to remove inside padding
- light weight (for the price)
- comfortable
- looks cool
- easy to find accessories such as visits for it
- keeps your head cool-ish

Best helmet for the price
Firstly, bought on sale so this was a steal ($160) only had super crappy helmet to compare before this one but all around it’s an amazing snell certified helmet. Very good ventilation, good field of view, comfortable and fits well.
Also quite nice aesthetically too which is a nice bonus. Has sections for speakers which worked pretty well, was fairly tight at first but it’s somewhat molded to my head shape now and is much better. Pin lock ready visors also another great plus, slipped the pin lock insert in on a smoked visor and works great. Seal on visor is good, and noise level is definitely not bad at all IMO despite the other reviews. But hard to get a good ventilation helmet that’s also super quiet. Again for the price likely best option in the market even at full non-sale prices.
With chin curtain even quieter/ warmer as well and it fits well and is non obtrusive

Very good helmet for the money, fits well
It's more comfortable than my bell helmet but still a loud helmet for wind noise. I'm oval shaped and it fits me perfectly.

which pinlocks will fit in this? Was looking for a yellow tint anti fog.
This helmet uses the same face shield as the HJC i70, so requires the pinlock insert for a HJ-31 shield, which can be found here:

Is the strap a quick release? It's been a while since I've bought a helmet, so I'm not sure if this is standard. It wasn't five years ago.
No, it's not a quick-release. This helmet has a double-d chinstrap.
