Rated 5 out of 5 by from Get it ! But it should come with the helmet really It is a great product ! It prevents bugs from getting into the helmet from below. It is different from the picture and seeing how simple and cheap it is (just a piece of plastic and some perforated tissue), I don't understand why it doesn't come with the helmet. But at least, we have the option to purchase it at a cheap price so I strongly recommend you do it, it will improve your riding experience. It is perforated and some air is still getting through which is really nice for airflow purposes. As another reviewer said, the product looks different. The one on the picture looks much more padded and made of tissue, whereas the one I got has a structure made of plastic with tissue welded to it. But as this is the most compact construction, I'm pretty happy with what I got, but I wish FortNine would update the picture photo so it matches what they are selling !

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Might work for the IS-17, but not for i70 I bought this chin curtain for my HJC i70, as Revzilla mentions this model fits for both the IS-17 and i70 models. I noticed just recently a Fortnine employee responded to a client request asking this same question, and they said it is not compatible. Having tried this on my i70 helmet, it does "fit", however it will not lock in place properly. If I were to yawn with my helmet on, my chin would cause one side of it to come off the helmet, and I assume the wind while riding would fully rip it off the helmet. Construction is fine, comparable to the one I got for my old Bell Qualifier. Too bad HJC decided to not release the helmet accessories at the same time as their new helmets, but I guess I will have to wait for that day to get a proper chin curtain.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works ok - product pictured not same as delivered Works ok, cuts out some of the noise and drafts. The product delivered was not the same as the one pictured so there was a little confusion as to how to best install. It will periodically pop back up into the helmet while riding. It's a cheap knockoff creation and HJC should really just include it as part of the helmet purchase.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not fit for i 70 Helmet I had to contact HJC Support when I could not get this into my helmet without breaking the side visor latch. They said its not meant for the i 70 helmets and should not be used. Currently there is no HJC part number for the i 70 chin curtain.according to HJC Support.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well worth the money I have an HJC IS-17, which I like except for the noise. In one of the FortNine YouTube videos, they mentioned that the neck curtain made a difference in noise levels. So I ordered one. The IS-17 is discontinued, but they still had the neck curtain in stock. It arrived in a few days. Installation was easy. And it does help with noise somewhat. I’m happy with it for the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty good for the price I haven’t put this to the test in terms of blocking wind. But I will this weekend during my course. It was a bit of a pain to “slide in” but line it up, feed one side in so it holds its place, then try to feed the other side and then I found that pressing down with my palm made it easier. I’m guessing there’s adhesive between the shell and foam so the lip will def catch onto that. Otherwise it’s a really thin mesh. Not what I thought it would be. Was hoping a slightly thicker mesh but whatever. Can’t complain
