Nice Shield
Bought this shield from FortNine and received it in reasonable time and in good shape. It was packed securely in a box and shipped by expedited parcel. HJC obviously is proud of its products. This shield is high quality, a great colour, and is packed in its own protective plastic bag. HJC claims this product is Made in Korea, not in China. It is supposed to fit my new HJC helmet perfectly. So far, so good.

Perfect fit and tint
I bought this few weeks ago, the tint is easy to see through and tough for outside world to see into! It was direct fit to my CL-Max 2 helmet

Pas la bonne photo, mais le bon modèle quand-même.
J'ai hésité avant d'acheter (HJ-17 "clear") parce que la photo ne correspond pas à ma visière. Par contre sur la photo principale le modèle est bon. La visière que j'ai reçue corresponds parfaitement à mon casque. Le remplacement fut très facile.

Silver visor = 5/5
The Silver outter visor is a perfect fit for my HJC C91. It's a great balance between shade and visibility. I use it daily and not just for clear, bright, sunny days - overcast, too. If I'm riding into the sunrise or sunset, the inner drop down shade visor + this Silver is plenty dark enough. It would be too dark for night riding, however. Again, no issues with the fit - all edges line up perfectly and there are no air leaks, and the hinge tabs pop in perfectly. Overall quality is superb. No complaints.

Lost pin for pinlock
The lens fit helmet precisely and was happy but the pin for pin lock has fallen out and this has been a major disappointment.
In other words I loved it but lost the pin
quickly (less than 2 months)

Is this visor also a doubled pane visor so it is as anti fog as the original?

Just bought the CL 17 helmet and want a second shield. What is the pinlock version about?
The pinlock visor is an inner shield that is attached on the inside of the main visor. It sits tight up against the main shield on a thin silicone bead that keeps it millimeters away from the main shield and creates a dead airspace. Since there is no direct surface contact between the outer cold air and the inner warm air, fogging is almost eliminated completely.
