Description
The RPHA 11 Pro Carbon Helmet elevates above the already top of the line RPHA 11 Pro by utilizing lightweight carbon fiber in the shell instead of fiberglass composite. The carbon fiber version weighs in at less than 3.00 lbs in a size MD with a weave finish that looks like it belongs in the paddock of a pro racer. The Max Airflow Top Vent scoops air at speed and directs it into the helmet for excellent venting. Each top vent has a six-stage variable control dial so you can fine tune the air flow. MultiCool material wicks moisture and dries quickly so the interior of the helmet stays comfortable. Glasses grooves at the temples accommodate eyeglasses or sunglasses. The center one-touch open and close mechanism on the face shield is ambidextrous and is designed for high speed racing conditions. Install a Smart HJC 20B or 10B Bluetooth headset (sold separately) into the helmet if you want to stay in touch during your sport touring. Excellent aerodynamics for a Naked Bike
First time moving away from another manufacturer, after 37 years. I am currently riding a BMW S1000R, and a Harley Sportster. It is super light for both bikes, and super aerodynamic for the BMW. Stability at high speed is 5 out of 5. Lane changes at speed is a simple head turn, no buffering!!! Fit and finish, excellent, and lightweight, too boot. Only downside, does that shield ever fog up. Going to try hockey shield defogger, to see if it helps. For the record, the helmet comes with a pin lock, but not for me. If you are thinking of buying a new helmet, this is worth considering. I’m glad I did. Btw, this is my first product review.

The best helmet for the money
Bought one at the beginning of the season and completely fell in love with it. An extremely light helmet and the padding is very comfortable. Comes with a regular visor as well as a light smoke one and pin lock inserts as well. I get compliments on how it looks all the time. Cardo hooked up to it perfectly and have not had any issues. Would give it more than 5 stars if I could.

Fortnine Rocks
Couldn't find this helmet anywhere and fortnine made it happen , I've been wearing helmets since I'm 8 years old and this is by far the best helmet in every aspect I have owned . Next purchase will be a revit hyperspeed pro jacket from Fortnine . Hopefully I can get a discount or find it on sale :)

Beautiful.
This helmet is super comfortable to wear. Mainly because it's so light, but also the fit is snug. I'm 57cm so a M fits snug for me and I have a round head, so again, it's very comfortable.
This helmet looks amazing. The free tinted visor and anti-fog lens insert are nice touches. The view is almost completely unobstructed. Practically full peripheral vision.
The noise level is pretty decent, I guess. But then again, I never ride without ear plugs...wind is loud. The airflow is the best I have ever experienced in a helmet.
I'm still getting used to the visor clip being in the center. I used to have an Icon helmet before this one and they basically perfected the visor clip (that helmet unfortunately never fit well). HJC should rethink this on their next design of this helmet. It is more awkward trying to unclip the visor from the middle than it is the left (clutch) side of the helmet.
Other than that, I'm super happy with this helmet. After 4 years of research and sending helmets back, I finally found "the one".
Fort Nine's shipping through COVID has been amazing. Didn't even notice a delay.

Not DOT rated, Euro imported, could be better
I've owned another RPHA 11 Pro helmet, and overall, it was a better helmet than this one for half the price. This helmet is a Euro market import, meaning it is ECE only, and not DOT. This is disappointing, as the helmet, when filtered in search, shows up under DOT, but later on the helmet page details, it only lists ECE. Had I known it was not DOT, I would not have bought it, and found another retailer that had a DOT version, as I can't use this nearly $1k helmet 15 minutes south across the border.
Other details, I have tried adjusting the visor mounts 5 times now, can't get rid of a whistle no matter what I do. never had a whistle on my other RPHA 11 Pro. Also, the side cushion at the back on one side comes out slightly. Chin curtain mounting clips' adhesive is also poor, clips are partly sitting out of place.
It's super light, fits great, is super comfortable and looks amazing. Fit and finish are quite poor, and the whole ECE/DOT thing really frustrated me. I'm stuck with the helmet either way, but given the choice, I'd have taken my money and spent it on another model.

Questions
The description of this helmet on a different site, states that the front chin bar vents are (not) functional as ventilation ducts - "Due to the ability to add a communication unit to this helmet". Please confirm.
Correct i have the 11 pro (functional vents) and this one carbon version since they have mic grooves the vents do not open
