Hjc Hj 26 pinlock visor.
Bought gold shield as extra on my hjc rpha 11. Locking mechanisms are quick and easy to operate. Installation/disassembly is one of the best systems, and takes seconds. It is a trigger style lock. Look is mirrored and field of view is amazing. Fogging does not occur when moving.

IT'S A VISOR!!!
Well, well, well, if it isn't the shiniest, most blinding visor I've ever laid eyes on. I feel like I'm staring into the face of a sun that's just had its morning coffee.
I recently slapped this bad boy onto my HJC helmet and took it for a spin around town. Let me tell you, it was like having my own personal fireworks show right in front of my eyes. It's like wearing a disco ball on my head, but without all the awkward dancing.
Not only does it look cool as heck, but it's also functional. The visor did an amazing job of blocking out the sun, which is great because I don't need any more wrinkles on this pretty face of mine.
So if you're ready to take your motorcycle game to the next level, then do yourself a favor and pick up the Gold Visor for your HJC helmet. Trust me, your head will thank you (and your friends will be jealous).

Quality Control lottery
It is hit and miss with these visors.
They are apparently made by HJC, yet the quality control is just not there.
I have ordered a few of these, because the mirrored versions look so cool.
My silver one needed to be returned, as it had visible "pits" in it.
The replacement lasted only as long as the next time there was rain.
The raindrops placed permanent spots on the visor.
That one went into the recycle bin.
My RST red one was a bit better. It still had some scratch/smudges, and a few pitted dots, but they were thankfully in spots that were not directly in my field of vision.
I decided to keep this one and just deal with it .
Fast forward to today...the Blue one.
Sigh.
Pitted yet again in at least 4 places, but also a hairline "internal" (scratch) of some kind, in an arc, diagonally across the length of the visor.
You can't see it looking at it from the outside, but hold it up to the light, (or sunlight), and you will see it.
I say it is (internal) because it must be a defect between the coating and the visor plastic...since you can't "feel" it you can see it.
This one, also, I am just going to live with.
But, I think HJC should step up their game to do a better job with inspecting these things before they leave the factory.
All it would take is holding them up to a light source and (looking) through them !

RST Silver - Developed "stains" after rain
Bought the RST Silver sheild, which looked awesome, fit/worked well - no issues.
Then I got caught in the rain one day.
When I got home and wiped off the water droplets I found that they were not coming off !!
It was almost as if the water had permanently "stained" the visor !
At first I thought it was just that I had missed some water drops on one side or the other, but nope - - I thoroughly cleaned it (using warm water only) - and the water stains were still there.
Before giving up, I tried a glasses-specific spray. Nope.
Then as a last effort, I tried Windex. Nope.
I am not sure why this happened, but I was so disappointed that I threw the sheild in my recycle bin and will call it a loss - never to be repeated.
As a last thought - I am wondering what happened - obviously.
Was it some sort of chemical that was on the road, that splashed/sprayed onto the visor from the vehicles on the wet road in front of me ?
That is my most likely hypothesis - as I cannot imagine that rainwater would destroy an otherwise perfect mirrored visor.

No surprises
Mirror finish is less darker than dark smoke, but i find the mirror finish has a clearer view.
Needed something in between clear and dark smoke, and mirror finish fits the bill. Fit and specs are in line with OEM.

Cheap & Flimsy
This is a cheap thin, flimsy visor compared to other helmet manufacturers! On a bright sunny day you will wish it was darker. Sadly the less expensive aftermarket visors don’t fit very well.

Pinlock shield fits right on, mechanisms are quick and easy trigger style. Pops off, pops on. Tint is nice with little to no glare.

The RST blue doesn't look very blue in the pictures. Can you confirm that it's a dark, mirrored blue. Like Iridium blue shields you see on here.
The shield in RST Blue really appears blue in it's reflection. As you can see here : http://imglin.com/20190109144116%5F1124544.png
