The RPHA 70 ST Carbon Helmet improves upon the original RPHA 70 ST model by ditching the fiberglass composite shell and going with a complete carbon fiber shell instead. The result is a sport touring helmet that looks like it belongs on the track. An updated shell structure helps the helmet weigh less than its standard counterpart. Dual-purpose top vent keeps air moving into and out of the helmet at speed. Premium MultiCool material wicks moisture and dries quickly to keep the interior comfortable even after touring all day. Deploy the dark smoke internal sun visor to keep the sun out of your eyes without having to physically swap out a face shield. The RPHA 70 ST Carbon helmet will keep you touring in comfort.

A Perfect Helmet! This helmet is snug below the jaw and around the head, without pressing uncomfortably. It doesn't painfully rip off the ears, when being removed. There are many air vents that can be easily adjusted without fiddling. Vents closed, it is low on wind noise, yet provides good circulation for breathing. The built-in sun visor is high contrast and low glare.

Better than a Shoei GT Air for half the price!Awesome helmet. Premium finish, for a great price. Love the sun visor. Includes a pinlock. Lots of air, and the vents close really well for colder days. All in all very impressed so far. I ride a naked street fighter - Triumph Street Triple and the upright dynamics are perfect for this helmet.

Great helmet for Naked BikeHelmet is relatively quiet at 100-120km/h, no windscreen.
I run both dark smoke screen with the tinted drop down visor as I find the drop down is not enough for those sunny days.
Typically I wear Medium with almost everything I buy but for this helmet I went with small. Snug at first to get it on but once it is on it feels secure and with the smaller size it also helps keep the weight down. I also think that having it a tight fit helps to keep the air from passing up inside the helmet from your chin. The provided chin guard is a must when riding.
Overall great helmet, RyanF9 liked the RPHA line which is why I tried it.

Great helmet with useful featuresThis helmet looks great and has a ton of useful features. The visor lock/clip is centred and is really useful in the city because you can open it with any hand. Meaning, at red lights or in heavy traffic while holding the clutch in, you can open the visor without having to reach over your face to the other side and open it like other helmets. I ride with glasses and this helmet provides enough space to squeeze in some glasses or sunglasses but it will force them in to a single position over your eyes. The vents are nice and big making them easy to open or close, but the inside chin vent doesn’t do anything but all the other vents are good. The cable operated sun visor is nice and dark and placed perfectly so you don’t have to reach around to find it. The helmet overall is a tight fit but once you get use it to wrangling it on every time you’ll find it fits well. It doesn’t leave any sore spots because the padding is fairly soft. I highly recommend this helmet to anyone looking for a sport touring helmet. (This helmet was recommended by RyanF9)

Light, comfortable, quietThis helmet is the best value for money in terms of features and comfort. It's light and comfortable to wear for long periods, has excellent air flow and is fairly quiet. Sun visor works like a charm to provide excellent vision without making everything too dark, it comes down low and is cable actuated, so it won't deploy if you happen to hit a bump. Fit, finish and materials on this lid are quality. Main visor offers wide view and stays in place securely. My main gripe is it looks a little big on the head, but for the features you get, you can't beat this one.

Best helmet I've ever ownedMy previous helmet was an hjc i70 and before that an ls2 strobe, they were pretty good and for their price I'd recommend them too. but this helmet is amazing it's got everything. And its light. Tons of ventilation and the ports even close so the air actually stops, Unlike some helmets. Its light and it's also very quiet as far as helmets go. It even has pockets with a velcro pad at the ears so it's super easy to install a com system.

Solid helmetLast year I tried on the RPHA 70 ST and it fit absolutely perfect, likely from being a show model. This year I was in need of a new helmet as my previous helmet (Icon Alliance) was now 7 years old and starting to fall apart. Without a second thought, I purchased the RPHA 70 ST Vias, size small. (Took measurements 3 times and fell within the small category all 3 times.)
Fit: Being a brand new, out of the box helmet, obviously it was more snug than ever... almost too snug. After a few weeks of riding, it began to feel a little better, but still snug. I would recommend purchasing the cheek pads next size up, if after a few weeks of riding the cheek pads are still too snug.
Weight: The weight of the helmet is light, noticeably lighter than my Icon Alliance.
Ventilation: The helmet has many vents, enough to instantly remove any fog build up while riding. You do get an anti-fog insert to install if you wish.
Sun Visor: The added drop down sun visor is great! The tint of the drop down visor is dark enough that you won't need to wear sunglasses anymore, and reflective enough that no one can see your eyes. The sun visor also has a locking position so it doesn't fall while riding.
Sound: Here's where the helmet falls short for me. I read and watched many reviews prior to purchasing, and they were all rather similar saying the wind noise was quiet - I would disagree. The wind noise is quite loud, for me at least. When around 60 km/h the deep droning sound begins, and only gets louder. It sounds similar to being on a plane during take off.
One other note, the chin strap is a touch on the shorter side. I don't have a large head and the chin strap padding doesn't cover much of the chin, which causes some rubbing from the vinyl part of the strap on my chin/neck.
4 out of 5, due to the wind noise factor and the chin strap.
A solid helmet nonetheless!

How does the RPHA 70 compare to the RPH 11 Pro?
Asked by: Tiny
We recommend checking out the comparison chart listed in the product details, which highlights the main differences between the 2 helmets. To summarize, the RPHA 11 Pro is lighter, better ventilation, and comes with a breath box. The RPHA 70 ST has an internal sun shield, which the 11 Pro does not.

Hello,
I want to replace the lens with a blue mirror type, what type of lens/shield would work for this? Do you carry them?
Thank you.
Asked by: BlueRider
The shield is the HJC HJ-26 ST but I don’t think it is available yet. The HJC HJ-26 shield will also fit and is identical with the exception that it has the tear off posts as it is intended for the RPHA 11 helmet which is race oreiented.

Does this helmet have speaker cups in the foam? Could you put a com in it alright?
Asked by: Red Ryder
Sure does. I installed a Uclear Amp system which has big speakers. It was easy and sounds awesome.
