Stupid loud but installation was annoying
The description made me believe it had everything necessary to install the exhaust on my bike (CBR250R) but it turns out I also needed to buy a new exhaust gasket as well. I also needed to take a pry bar to one of the mounts for the muffler spring as it was too close to the exhaust to allow the spring to fit. Other than these hiccups the bike is far louder than with the stock exhaust and drivers are starting to notice me now.

Looks great and sounds amazing
Got the carbon fibre model, and it looks great. No instructions but installation was super easy and effortless. Makes the bike sound so much better and a lot louder, definitely gets heads turning now. Great price and quality compared to other mufflers.

Worthwhile mod to my 2017 Honda CB500X.
Very happy with this pipe. If your looking for more 'street presence' then heartily recommend. Makes the bike feel sportier, and faster than it really is (if that makes any sense!). Definitely loud - but not too loud. Best mod so far, no regrets!

Anti-social, poor build quality
I have been using the MGP2 Carbon Fiber model on my Ninja 300 for about 400km and I switched back to my stock muffler.
The Good:
- Looks good (from afar)
- Weight (very light)
- Makes the pop-pop noise
- Price (on the surface. More on this later.)
The Bad:
- Loud to an anti-social level when cruising or riding in town
- Tends to drone at constant engine load
The Ugly:
- Very poor weld quality on the mid pipe
- Poor fitment of the muffler onto the mid pipe due to misalignment of a welded on ring causing constant exhaust leak.
- The spring that holds the muffler onto the mid pipe is only on one side causing a worsening of the fitment due to torquing the muffler to one side
- None of the bolts came with any thread lock causing the bolts to loosen over time. No torque spec provided either.
- Basically an exhaust tip without the baffle which is not sold on FortNine.
Verdict: Get a model that comes with a baffle, or has one available on FortNine for convenience. If I was only using this stoplight to stoplight, I would probably keep it on, but it's unbearable for highway use even with earplugs. Given the build quality and materials, not worth the asking price.

Great looks, sound, and value.
I bought the carbon one for my 2009 gsxr 600. Build quality is very good and it looks great (racy) on my bike. I have a straight midpipe, so it's louder than just having the slip on, which I like, but the quality of the sound is also excellent - deep and throaty at low and mid rpms, and blasts at the top. Highly recommend.

Loud AF
Bought the steel version (not carbon). Easy installation for someone who has never done anything mechanical. Motorcycle came to life. Only worry is whether it`s too loud, but I tell myself it`s for safety`s sake because you`re definitely more noticeable.
Bit expensive? These slip-ons all kinda are though.

2009 R1: Is there a hanger for this exhaust? Hotbodies has their own install video but it only shows it on the 2015-2019 which has a single exit exhaust and their website says the MGP2 isn’t made for the 09’s :S
Unfortunately, the Hotbodies MGP 2 Slip-On Exhaust is not compatible with a 2009 Yamaha R1.

is there a MGP sticker on the exhaust?
Not already on the exhaust, but comes with one that you can put on the exhaust if you wish.

What is the difference between the MGP and the MGP 2 slip on exhaust? It wil be going on a 2017 Cbr500r.
The difference is the MGP is the older style, with an exit pipe after the exhaust can. The MGP2 is just the can, with rounder edges. It's really a matter of preference, on looks. Sound should be very similar, if not the same.
