Lace guide brokeSecond time putting on the boots, the top lace guide/loop pulled right out. Now they can't properly lace up the ankle, and I bought them before the season so it's outside the return window.

MehGot the brown model and they look pretty rough after only a couple rides. No protection what so ever on the toes so your shifter will make pretty noticeable light brown scratches all over. They came with very cheap laces that immediatly broke in my hands. At least the sole feels good and offers good traction; very reassuring when you have to stop on a sandy spot on the road.

Great looking bootsOrdered the Brown color. It’s a nice looking boot, comfortable to walk in. However:
1. Found the sizing a bit tricky because of the stitching on the front; normally wear a size 8 and ended up getting size 9 because my foot was getting squeezed in the front when I put weight on it. It’s possible it may have broken in after some wearing but I didn’t have the luxury of time to test that out
2. They scuff very easily because of the leather so if you are particular about wear and tear that’s something to note - I’ve already scuffed the toe area after wearing them over two days.
3. Found it hard at times to feel the gear shifter on my left toe when getting my foot under it and shifting up - I’m guessing this would be an issue with any leather boot and one would just have to get used to it
4. Had a hard time keeping the laces done, had to tie them over and over again, so may end up changing those at some point
Overall it’s a nice looking boot, I’ve worn it for about 18 hrs in total now and I think it will get more comfy over time. The D3O padding around the ankle feels ample. I would strongly suggest trying on a few other different ones as well and figuring out the sizing before ordering.

Nice boot, too bad about the qualityAfter the boots arrived, I wore them around the house to get a feel for them and break them in a bit. Took them on a ride a few days later and they were great. Comfortable, even walking around a bit. Then I got home. As I was taking the boots off, I noticed that one of the eyelets had come out of the boot. Contacted F9 and had no issue returning them.

I like the boots they are very comfortable. Only thing I don't like is the straps, they keep detaching.
