Perfect for chubby bobbies
I'm 5'10, 200lb. I would say I'm jolly or fun to grab, but not really fat or obese. I do however have chubby cheeks. This made my large icon airflite helmet be insanely difficult to put on or off. To the point that wearing headphones was impossible and my ears would always fold and stuck that way when putting on the helmet.
This xl set helps a good deal. Honestly I think I could have gone even a size larger and been fine. My ears feel better now and putting on the helmet is easier but by no means "easy". Overall it's definitely worth it for me but I would have bought a size even larger if I was doing it again

Perfect
My large hemet was on spec for my head size, however the fit was far too tight. Swaped out pads to xxl and fit is perfect now.

Bought the XL cheek pads for my size L helmet, they fit perfectly and gave me the extra room I needed for a great fit.

Questions
I purchased a Medium Icon Airflite Helmet but the cheek pads and liner seem to be too thick....does anyone know it the Small pads are thinner and will they work in a Medium helmet?
I had the same issue and asked icon. Apparently, their helmet and cheek pad sizes are different. The cheek pads go in reverse so an XL is smaller than a L. Swapping them out is not a problem, you just have to order a new set and keep the same size helmet.

I bought a XL icon airflite helmet and it’s nice but the cheek pads hurt my ears when putting on and off they are size XL what would be the best size to get?
I had the same problem with my XL airflite, I ended up ordering XXL cheek pads and they’re less thick. Gave me a better fit as the helmet was super tight to put on.
