Rated 1 out of 5 by from Is almost clear If you were thinking of upgrading from the 22.05 version to this version thinking that they were the same colour because of the stock photo they are not.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as good as the previous verson Not as good as the previous version. Coating is less durable and I think the seal on the helmet isn’t as good. I’ll be buying the previous version of it shortly as this one is already showing wear after a month, with my same level of care as the previous one. To compare, I got almost two full seasons out of the other one with the same conditions.

          Questions

Do these shields look like the photo's, in person?

          Asked by: Benji
To avoid unprofessional photos with reflections of the photographer or surroundings, companies modify their advertisements to represent the many colours that can come out in various levels of light. The mirrored surfaces of these multi coloured shields work the same way as a 2 way mirror, requiring darkness on one side and light on the other. Once any protective films are removed, if you were to place the shield in front of something completely solid and dark, like your face or a helmet, and in complete natural daylight, the lens surface becomes instantly reflective and acquires the colours depicted in stock photos. When you are using inside, or unnatural lighting, the colours may not all appear, or the true reflective surface may not be shown.
