Part Numbers for Icon Airframe/Alliance Chin Curtain

Rated 3 out of 5 by from doesn't fit alliance helmets ICON's website claimed that this product# would fit the alliance helmets as well - but it doesn't completely fit. Part of it sticks out. I still use it anyways as is. Otherwise, seems to be good - keeps wind noise down and dust from flying through.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Can't get helmet on after installing I had no issues installing on my Icon Alliance. However, I cannot get the helmet on my head with the chin curtain installed. Its way too tight to slide over my face. Without the chin curtain my nose almost touches the front part of the helmet when I put it on. With the chin curtain installed its just does not go on. Not sure how other folks are able to fit into their helmets with this installed? If I did manage to somehow get the helmet on with the chin curtain installed, I'd be worried that first responders would have trouble getting my helmet off in case of a crash.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works. Fit my Icon Alliance GT. Prevents the wind from getting into my face. That's all I wanted. I just don't know why Icon didn't include it with the helmet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Should be included with helmet For what it costs, I think Icon really should have included this with the helmet. It's nothing special, but does dampen wind buffeting a bit. As others have said, it's a really tight fit and tricky to install, but once it's in, it doesn't move.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Tight fit Does what it is supposed to. Some people complain about the fact that it is hard to put in place, but when fully seated, it won't budge even when I remove my helmet. So for me its a keeper. Does not lower the noise that much, but hey, it goes on a budget helmet, so it is to expect.

Questions

Will it fit domain 2?

Asked by: Angel
No, this is not the correct part number for the Domain/Domain 2, It looks like those replacement parts have been discontinued by the manufacturer. Sorry about that.

Will this fit and Airmada helmet?

Asked by: Darce
No it won't, I ordered one and tried to cut it to make it fit but everytime I put the helmet on the chin curtain would pop out. Ended up making a DIY chin curtain out of a black t-shirt, works awesome!
