Built to combat the elements and the asphalt, the Alcan™ boot is ready for the harshest of ADV use. The upper is comprised of TechTuff leather, renowned for its durability. The reinforced shin plate provides cover for the BOA® lacing system for optimized fit. An eVent® waterproof/breathable liner keeps the interior dry while D3O® ankle inserts provide increased coverage. The outsole is a combined construction of internal reinforced shank, hi-rebound foam cushioning, and an oil & slip resistant rubber bottom unit.

Excellent boot for the price, very comfortable, Boa lacing, a joy, very comfortable and held up in Newfoundland & Labrador spring rain.

So far so good!
Wasn’t planning on riding tonight and then these showed up in the mail. I wear a 12 Jordan and these 12s fit just fine. Was a little surprised when they showed up. A little bulkier than I was expecting, somewhere between a work boot and a hiking boot. But that’s the trade off for good ankle support and protection. Took them out for a spin and after a few minutes began to feel very natural. Glad I ordered them. I’m sure they’ll break in nicely. BOA system is so slick!

Great boots
Super confortable to walk in, high enough if you want to tuck your pants in and not so high that you can’t pull your pants over. I recommend them.

Questions
Will these boots fit someone who has 2EE/4EE wide feet?
The manufacturer, says that they don't think that someone with that wide of a foot could fit comfortably, but the Alcan is our widest boot. The slabtown is also built on the same sole so might be an option.

Is there toe protection and is there a reinforced area for shifting gears?
There is no toe protection beyond their TechTuff leather, but there is a reinforced shifter overlay.
