A good choice for me.
I bought this after watching lots of videos online. I'll give some background.
I HATE my textile pants. I can never find anything that isn`t either too baggy, or too long. I also want my knee protection to stay in place. While I usually ride purely for enjoyment, occasionally I go somewhere that i have to look presentable and not look like a power ranger.
These are an excellent solution. I bend a knee slightly and snug the three straps up. The upper strap is a longer Velcro strap that snugs up comfortably to your lower thigh. Lots of adjustability to accommodate your chicken legs or "dad bod" thighs. The middle and lower straps both have Velcro adjustability, which clicks into place with a plastic buckle that has a reassuring loud click. These things stay in place. Spend the time to make them customized to you. D30 knee protectors lp1 are included, and don`t slide up and down, which makes me happy on the inside and outside. You do have the option of ordering the lp2 upgrade separately.
The lower 2/3 of this armor does a really good job of covering your shins without interfering or contacting the top of my boots. On the top and bottom of the knee part is a good deal of flexibility which works well with walking around. While they are visible through my riding jeans, they don`t make it look like you inherited your knees from the Michelin man. An added bonus for me was that they assist in gripping my tank, so i can stick with the OEM rearsets.
Bottom line: evaluate your level of acceptable risk, and consider these for additional protection. They work really well for what i was looking for.

Extra safety and peace of mind
I bought these to allow me to feel more comfortable on my bike in case of emergency. I use PPE with my firefighting career that I would never work without. I feel the same about riding a motorcycle. The calls I go to show me things I would not want happening to me, like a motorcycle accident. This armour is so comfortable. I wear them on my skin, below my riding jeans and the only place that may feel slightly uncomfortable would me the thigh strap. They stay in place, move well with your body, are slim and light. I bought the size L/XL. I am 5'11" and 185lbs. I have muscular legs, but am not "big". These fit very well and lots of room for adjustment.

Comfortable and stay in place when walking
I bought these knee and shin protectors earlier this year and am very happy with them. I wore them around the house quite a bit before the riding season and they are comfortable and stay in place when walking. I keep the straps adjusted fairly loose and they still do not move around. They look like they will provide adequate protection, I hope I never find out.

Great quality
This is a very good product, fits well, gives me the protection i need and are fairly comfortable. Definetly meant for riding and not walking need to pull them up after a few steps but they give you great mobility. Would definetly recommend

Questions
Can you replace LP1 protection with LP2 inserts?
The LP1 L1 Knee orange insert comes out. There is an overlapping reinforced fabric flap to allow removal and replacement of the D3O insert. Same for the elbow pads, and the front and back of the chest armor.

Is there a size chart for the sizes?
No size chart. It fits me great. Have been using them every ride. The straps are adjustable, tighten them up the way you want. Easy to put them on and also taking them out. I am 170 cm height.
