Easier than kevlar pants...
I bought these because I have a huge fear of destroying my knees if/when I go down on my bike. These pads looked subtle enough, and easy enough to throw on when it's too warm for my over-pants. I am not disappointed.
My leg position is about 80 degrees so they're not binding, but they're snug enough to remind you they're there.
I'm too tall to find suitable kevlar pants, and these allow me to wear my work jeans to commute and still have protection.
I haven't walked long in them enough to say if I'd leave them on when not on the bike.
My only gripe is that the lower two nylon straps are very slick and lose their place on the male connectors. Minor stuff.
The small/medium will be good for most regular size guys. I'm 19" around the leg at 2" above the TOP of my knee cap, and 16" around at 4" beneath the BOTTOM of my knee cap. That's with pants on and there is room for adjustment.
Thanks Icon, and FN. Happy riding...

Excellent protection
I have used this every time I've riden my bike and you hardly notice them. And it's a lot cheaper then riding pants and you can use them on any pants you already own. But when you stop and get off the bike the start walking they get uncomfortable and ride up a bit. So if your just riding around these are perfect but if your going from place to place and will be walking a lot, still get them ( better to have and not need then need and not have) but you will be taking them off and putting them back on a lot. But again I will always wear them, not risking my knee caps!!!

Just The Ticket For Commuters
I was pleasantly surprised with how big these are. I probably could have gotten away with the S/M instead of the L/XL, but that just means more protection if I need them.
These are a great option for commuters or those not wanting to wear armor around when they get to their destination. For those of us with short inseams it also provides an option when the armor pocket in your riding pants doesn't line up with your anatomy. All the knee and upper shin protection you want when riding in the summer without sweating it out in a pair of textile overpants. Reasonably comfortable and no more hassle to put on than a pair of gloves.
I wish that I bought these sooner and for those just starting out or on a budget I would recommend them faster than your bike inevitably going down.

Very comfortable, and easy to use.
I just wear these over my normal pants, jeans or chinos, and they work perfectly. Walking in them is kind of weird unless I undo the top strap, but while riding they are perfectly fine.

Great for summer riding
Purchased it to avoid overpants at hot summer months. The product fulfilled my expectations. Fit is very firm, I am pretty sure that the initial impact will be taken properly, after that some slide of these pads can be possible. It is also very comfortable to walk with them on. The only improvement I would make would be to have straps (bottom two) being locked in place - currently they can get loose relatively easy and require some pulling to adjust (make it fitting tighter) time from time (i.e after walking or excessive movement on a motorcycle).

Took a few rides to get used to and adjust how I like but now I can hardly tell I'm wearing them. Much more cost effective than shelling out for riding pants and much better insurance than nothing. Pro tip, tuck the lower strap ends in if they stick out a bit when tightened or they'll flap against your leg a lot on the highway

Est-ce que la protection D30 peut être changé pour une de niveau 2 ? Si oui, par quelle article chez Fortnine ?? Merci
Malheureusement, ces protèges-genoux sont moulés, il est donc impossible de remplacer la protection.

Is the size of the pad the same for both sizes? I know the strap length is different.
Yes, this is the same pad, just different latches.
