Description
Keeping true to the Icon Motorhead legacy, we designed a leather jacket that is versatile and robust. If this is your first motorcycle jacket, it may very well be your last; the IconMotorhead3 is here to stand the test of time. It is constructed of 1.2-1.4mm Brazilian cowhide chassis and designed for comfort in an aggressive riding stance.Stretch panels and waist adjusters allow for a customized fit. The jacket comes fully loaded with a full suite of D3O impact protectors (shoulder, elbow, back). Laser perforated zones and zippered vents provide increased airflow necessary on hot days. In contrast, the removable Insulated Vest liner and full-length Waterproof liner provide comfort in cold & wet riding conditions.

Disappointed
This jacket could have been amazing, but the D30 armour moves around inside the armour pockets and does not sit where it should. This renders the protection ineffective. I love everything about this jacket; cool look, layered for multi-weather riding, leather, and came with elbow, shoulder and back protection). I was so disappointed that the safety aspect was overlooked. In fact, I’ve tried a number of icon jackets and most of them have this issue (except for the Mesh AF, which I bought and is awesome). Also, be aware that you will get different types of grain in the leather which also affects the aesthetic. Mine looked blemished when I got it, so another strike for not keeping it. Otherwise this would have been one of the best jackets out there!
