Sizeable disappointment.
For quite some time, I've been looking for a nice rugged pair of bike boots with a rubber outsole, not the crepe/foam type that doesn’t wear well. I thought I finally landed on the ones I was looking for. When I received them, they were what I wanted; rugged, solid rubber sole, and buckle lacing system, i liked what I saw.
Unfortunately, the joy disappeared when I tried them on. They were too small. It wasn't the fault of the boot, it was the fault of the manufacturer. Okay, I wear a size 12 shoe, and these were supposedly size 12. (A larger size isn't offered). I was disappointed and had to return the boots.
I reordered a different ICON boot and again was disappointed by the smaller size. (Supposed to be size 12) I've had to get them stretched to be able to wear them. They are NOT comfortable.
It would be nice if manufacturers returned to North American sizing, not some Asian comparable sizing system. I am now looking at ditching ICON and looking at a different manufacturer.

Slabtown success
Great fit, great style & great protection. I love the ease of getting in & out of these boots, and they’re not too hot in hot weather either.
