When it all comes down to it, the proof is in the pudding. That's why we didn't cover the Variant Pro Construct™ hand-laid composite shell; we displayed it. We leave the finish raw to showcase the hand of its crafting. It's topped off with our Rubatone finish for a unique helmet in its purest form.

Not impressed
the helmet is nice but the clear visor if you take off is a cheap design. Followed the steps in the manual, and it cracked trying to pop it off. I looked up online, and seen other people had the same issue. So phoned Fort Nine and explained what happened. But they said it was my fault and nothing they could do. So i phoned icon, and they were alot better to deal with, sent my a new one with no issues. Not impressed with fort nine customer service. They should back there products up that they sell. Will be buying elsewhere from now on.

Nice helmet
Bought this helmet after a head impact with my original Icon Variant and have about 25h use with the new one. The Variant Pro has good airflow, great comfort and a sleek design. It fits tight at first but it will break in after some time. Only reason it’s not 5 stars for me is because the wind noise is a bit loud for a $500+ helmet. Will buy again when the time comes.

Best Fitting Helmet
I just got this helmet today. Its so light compared to my previous one. It fits so snuggly, very quiet incomparrison too. One problem that might be a big one, I operated the head vent switch on the right side upwards, and it blew right off. No replacment parts I can find online.

Questions
Just was wondering if you have to size up or get normal size you are as in bell I’m a medium but had a airflite and had to go with a large just was wondering if I would have to go with a large like I had to the air flite?
The helmet does run a little small so like the Airflite, you may need to size up in this helmet too.

Will my current Variant Etched shields fit the new Variant Pro ?
The variant and variant pro shields are both different and will not work with the alternate helmet.

No, the helmets use different shields so the insert is different too.

If im curently using a 2xl icon airmada, will this compare in size
