A jacket that fits and flatters! Wow!
This is a 4-star review for only one reason. Otherwise, I love this jacket and it's the best motorcycle jacket I own.
The sizes are very true for someone of my stature. It's hard to find motorcycle jackets for a 5'11", 200 lbs woman who lifts weights. I actually bought the 2XL and found it to be too large! I then ordered the XL version which fits perfectly. That basically never happens!
With the liner, it's warm enough for the shoulder seasons. Airflow is good. Protection is good. The form is very flattering, which is great. Armour is good... with one caveat.
I find that without the liner, the armour flops out of the inner armour-pockets of the jacket too easily. Whenever I take the jacket off, the armour slips out and falls onto the floor. I'm frequently fussing to get the armour back in there. I think the next thing I'm going to do is sew the pockets partially shut to make it harder for that to happen, but so I can still get the pads out for cleaning the jacket.
If Icon fixed that problem with their "Contra 3" or whatever, it'd be an instant 5 out of 5 for me. Even still, I'd recommend the jacket to others purely for the fit alone. Good job, Icon!

Worth the money!
I purchased this jacket about a month ago and I wear is every time I ride. Originally I purchased it as a summer alternative to my leather, which is just way to warm during prairie summers, but it has quickly become my go to jacket.
As a new rider, I wanted protection with more air flow, which this quality jacket delivers on.
I recommend using your measurements and size chart to choose the best size. I bought a medium and it for as I expected.
For reference I am 5’7” and approximately 140lbs.
I have fairly long arms and the sleeves are great, this was an additional selling point from another review.
Because I am more petite on the top then in the hips, I have plenty of room for a hoodie if wanted. The length of the jacket is good, it covers my lower back while riding.
The jacket is quite heavy, about as heavy as my leather, I don’t mind.
I like the armor, you can definitely tell it’s an armor jacket, that’s fine with me.
I have really only ridden on highways, but believe it’s likely this jacket might be quite warm on really hot days in the city.
I have yet to need the removable insulated liner.
Wishes: rain liner or jacket (it should be standard with this price point I believe), loops to attach to belt, the ability to tighten the arm adjustment straps more (as mentioned quite a bit smaller on the top vs hips).
It was worth the money for me.

Best jacket for summer
I loveeee this jacket. I live in Saskatchewan and it’s perfect for those summer days. The d30 armour is probably the most comfortable. I tried on many jackets locally and I found they all hurt my shoulders and elbows and this one was perfect. It does run a little small. I’m normally an xs and I ordered a medium. I could probably do a small but I wanted extra space to fit a hoodie under cause I was worried I’d be cold but the liner does just great! Of your thinking about it just buy it!

Vraiment super!
Ce manteau est haute visibilité et c’est ce que je recherchais. La grandeur est conforme au niveau des épaules mais la taille vers le bas est large. J’ai donc fait poser deux velcroc de chaque côté et c’est parfait. Si j’avais pris une grandeur en dessous les bras auraient été trop serrés. Là je peux mettre un chandail à capuchon en dessous lors de l’automne. Moi je l’aime bien et je suis visible!!!
Le niveau de protection est très bon.

Belle coupe mais manque de polyvalence
Ce manteau est une réussite au niveau de la coupe; Icon nous a habituées à des coupes parfois très larges et carrées ou encore si ajustées qu’il était impossible de plier le bras sans ôter la protection du coude. Ce manteau est un bel équilibre mais est fait petit. Optez pour une taille plus grande si vous êtes entre deux. Pour ma part, je porte du medium partout. J’ai les épaules et les bras plutôt coincés, et impossible de mettre le manteau avec sa double (inutile tant qu’à moi puisqu’elle n’est pas coupe-vent mais juste isolée).
J’ai testé ce manteau en canicule. Malgré mon choix de couleur claire, j’ai suffoqué dans ce manteau supposément aéré. Avec mon petit pare-brise, l’air va directement sur le haut de la poitrine... la où ce n’est pas en mesh. J’ai de l’air dans les bras mes les épaules sont collées dans les pads. Comme il est ajusté près du corps, j’ai du avoir de l’aide pour ôter ce manteau après une rando de 150 km a 30 degrés. Point négatif pour la doublure intérieure de mauvaise qualité qui devient collante à la moindre humidité.
Je suis aussi allée au travail les matins à 10 degrés. J’avais à peine assez de place pour mettre un coupe vent sous le manteau. Mais bon, on ne roule jamais bien vite dans le trafic.
Avoir pris le large plutôt que le medium m’aurait fait une taille flottante et définitivement trop grande. C’est un très beau manteau féminin mais il lui manque un peu d’amplitude aux manches et des panneaux stretch aux dos. Heureusement, il a d’excellentes protections D3O.
