iGrip Studs Item # 715653
Description
iGrip tire studs are made from hot-dipped steel to maximize durability and thermally galvanized with a zinc coating which acts as a shield against corrosion. A tungsten carbide tip is welded to each stud to amplify continuous traction. This is possible thanks to the exceptional anchoring depth our studs achieve in ice. Please note that an installation tool is included in each box.

Installer tool does not work
Installer tool is too big for Studs had to use a socket to install them see how they hold up this winter

Great studs - easy to install
These are my first set of studs, and they seem to work well. After four rides, they appear to be holding up fine. They bite on black ice and are not super noticeable when riding.

Je ne recommande pas les formats 8mm et inférieurs
J'ai acheté le format 11 mm pour des pneus arrières de VTT et le format 8 mm pour les pneus avant. L'installation des 11mm est OK sans plus. Je ne peux me prononcer sur la longévité mais la force me semble faible à cause du petit format des fillets de la vis. La pause des goujons 8mm a été frustrante. Près de 25% se sont enlevés d'eux-même dès que je tentais de désengager l'outil d'installation.Mon commentaire s'applique aux produits igrip. Le service de Fornine été correct.
