API SP Classification:

• Generally for 2025 and older engines
• SP provides enhanced protection against low-speed pre-ignition (LSPI) and timing chain wear

• Improves oxidation stability and deposit control, while remaining backward compatible with older API specs
• Improves fuel economy, emission control system protection and protection of engines operating on ethanol-containing fuels up to E85
• If your motorcycle's manual specifies SN (2020), you can safely use SP oil, but always double-check your owner's manual for the correct viscosity and any specific recommendations
