Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good boot but problems right away. just purchased this boot and it arrived quickly a couple days ago. Hard to find any reviews on the product because its so new but joe rocket make good affordable stuff so I thought for the price I'd try them out. Out of the box, great looking boot, good protection, firm sole and most of materials seem good quality. Unfortunately one of the buckles was broken already when it arrived. Plastic buckle seems flimsy and it was cracked and pulled out of the boot. I would return but have a trip I'm heading out on and don't have the time to wait so I will glue the pieces back on and hope for the best. Another issue is the ability to tighten the boot firmly around the calf isn't possible because the adjustability doesn't allow for it. Other than that I am happy with the boot but those are two rather big issues I hope they fix on the next model. For now I couldnt recommend with my experience so far.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good beginners boots These are my first adventure boots. Bought them because I almost broke my ankle after dropping my klr. These new boots give me piece of mind. What a difference, you guys! Offshore riding has never been so much fun before. Rocks, water and mud aren't my concerns anymore. At first they seemed too bulky but after a month of use, the leather broke in and shifting isn't a problem any more. Fit a little big. The only minor issue is the top fastener gets undone sometimes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great looking, well built, FIT NARROW. These are a great looking and seemingly well built boot. Unfortunately they are also VERY narrow. If you have even a slightly wide foot these will not fit. Sad to return them but at least Fortnine has a great return policy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality boot I purchased these at the beginning of the 2020 season and I haven't been disappointed. I have thoroughly tested the waterproofing of these boots and they've come out with flying colours. The buckles took a bit of getting used to but now that I have them dialed in, they are perfect. I've been hit with rain already this 2021 season and they're still keeping my feet nice and dry.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall great boots, while I haven’t crashed in them yet I have confidence that my lower legs would be the least of my issues. Completely waterproof and haven’t leaked even when using them as snow boots. One issue I do have with them is the lack of feel they provide for foot controls. My shift linkage is only a few turns from maxed out so I can fit these things under the lever. Rear brake is either on or off as far as I can tell. I’m sure once I break them in a bit more and get used to them these issues will go away.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from For the money Overall they are a good boot for value. Stitching and and choices of materials are very nice. Pro's: Fit and finish is solid. Soles are stiff and good for standing on pegs. Buckles are easy to use and snap in place. Shin protection good. Waterproof Con's: Slight discomfort pressure when bending the boot while walking. Outside halfway along the foot. Might get better when fully broken in. Not sure on the use of that plastic piece just in front of the lowest buckle. Its part of what puts pressure when walking. Because of the waterproof membrane they run hot. Little time getting used to shifting because of the stiffness of the boot. I haven't used them for more than a week so this is more the first impressions and first few rides.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wish I could be happy about these boots Bought these boots as they are advertised with a “Dry-Tech® waterproof membrane” to keep your feet dry in wet conditions . Nothing could be further than the truth. At the first sign of rain they soak through and fill up with water . They look great and feel great they just aren’t waterproof as advertised . I can’t return as I have worn them so I am contacting it the manufacturer directly . I would gladly pay more for a pair that could keep me my feet at least halfway dry.

Same question, how is the sizing, for someone with a 9 1/2 would you go 9 or 10?

Does the boot size fit the same as a regular shoe size or is it recommended to go a size larger?

                  Asked by: Jeff
Fit is true to size. Go with your regular shoe size.

How roomy are these boots? I have high arches and find that a lot of boots (e.g. Alpinestars) are too flat and put pressure across the top of my feet which can be painful. The front (toes) of my feet are also a bit wide.

                  Asked by: Mike in BC

How high is that waterproof membrane? Does it extend to the top of the boot or does it end mid boot?

                  Asked by: Hank
I would say that the waterproofing ends about 2/3 up, that’s where the inner gaiter ends. I’ve ridden through two rain storms, one was a trip from Toronto to Niagara on the Lake and back, feet stayed nice and dry. I hope this helps.

How much flexibility is in the ankles? Is it a stiff boot or easy to walk in?
