Excellent fit.
Had to reorder XL, but very fast delivery and great fit. Nice and warm and keeps the wet and wind out. Nice that it comes with all the pads for safety.

A good alternative jacket
I bought the jacket as a second summer jacket. It is typical Joe Rocket quality and fit. The torso is true to size chart. There are no adjustments on the arms which are a little on the tight side at the elbow joint. Removing the hoodie, liner helps loosen the fit at the elbow. With the liner removed the warmth factor declines, but as I would use the jacket in warm weather, this would not be much of an issue. On the up side, the hoodie liner is an actual hoodie that could be used elsewhere just as a hoodie. Hidden bonus. The overall build quality is good. The snug fit of the jacket does prevent the armour from sliding around. At 6’0” and 180lbs a Medium size (40-42) fits comfortably snug around the torso, but on the tight side on the arms at the elbow at a 90 degree bend or greater. Think laid back cruiser riding position vs more forward spots bike tuck. With the liner in, there is no access to the Napoleon pocket without fist partially unzipping the liner on the left side of the jacket. As it is the middle of winter I have not field tested the jacket, but I believe the Joe Rocket should perform as expected.

Nice jacket
Bought this for spring and fall, only got it as the weather turned cooler here in Northern BC. Fits well, I'm a big ole guy and the 3X fits over my beer belly just right. It looks good, seems sturdy, padding is nice. Couple of things I would change--the main zipper could use a larger fob, it's a bit hard to grasp with gloves on and it could use a couple extra pockets somewhere--I thought sleeves were pockets but they are merely vents.

Great Jacket
Bought this jacket early May 2016 and it has been great. I was hesitant buying this jacket without trying it first but I'm glad I did. The sizing chart was spot on and the jacket fits great.

Overall great product. I am 5' 11" and the large fits really good. The quality is immediately noticeable as well as being comfortable considering its packed with armour. Great in warm or cold weather. Lots of interior pockets and good quality zippers.

Outer Jacket is Great, Hoodie Not So Much
I bought the jacket this spring to wear on the cooler days (i.e. 8-20 Celsius). It very much keeps the wind out and overall I am pleased with the jacket, with one very notable exception.
I am 6' and 195lbs. The XL fits me well. I've upgraded the armor which makes things just a bit more snug. My issue is that the hoodie is WAY larger than it should be considering it is an inner layer. It is an XL hoodie on the baggy side which is supposed to fit in a snug fitting XL shell. Makes absolutely no sense that the inner layer is as large (if not larger) than the shell it is supposed to fit in.
Also, sleeve fasteners would make putting on the jacket a lot easier, which again, is an issue because of the baggy hoodie.
I'll likely end up wearing a different tighter fitting inner layer most of the time, or just wear the shell only depending on the temperature. Again, the shell itself is great.

Very good jacked
Awesome jacket. Warm enough for early/late season riding, but by removing the lining and opening vents, it's cool enough for hot days. It's comfortable and looks cool. Mine has a full season on it and it's showing no signs of unusual wear and tear. It's also got quite a few conveniently placed pockets, which is nice because my bike doesn't have storage.
