Excellent slim jacket with good protection.
I ordered this and the Alpinestars Brera at the same time as i couldnt decide on which jacket. I was pleasantly surprised by the Joe Rocket. It had the same slim euro fit in the body but is not constricting in the arms. The Joe Rocket is constructed of very good leather and has a removable liner. This jacket is a bargin at $400 compared to the Alpinestars. 5ft6inch at 155lbs and the small size fit very well. I also rode with it in about 22 degrees today and it had very good ventilation for a leather jacket with the arm and back vent zippers. The vault CE1 back protector is good but I beefed it up by getting a replacement Nucleon CE2.

Great fit for tall, slim. Well made jacket.
I am 6'3" and 190lbs, fairly slim overall with long arms and I bought this jacket as a medium. This is the first leather jacket I've found that actually covers my wrists at a reasonable length without being excessively loose around the torso. I wouldn't like it much thinner around the body.
Seems to be very high quality, the removable quilted vest liner is nice. The visor pocket is handy, but the visor wants to shift out of position as I'm moving around/riding (over the course of 1-2 hours). I might look for a way to close the pocket so that the visor can't come out as easily.

Functional and practical
Purchased this jacket for my husband, who wanted a riding jacket that he could use for both riding his motorcycle and also as a casual everyday jacket. It functions very well as both - shoulder and back armor is removable and the jacket is not so overdesigned as a motorcycle jacket that he can transition its use to a casual, fashionable jacket too. Leather is also high quality. It is smooth and has little to no chemical smell.

fits great
bought this jacket on sale so I got a great deal. I got the jacket in winter so have not used it on the bike yet. I read some of the other reviews and they were very accurate as to the quality and fit. I am 5ft 6, 170 lbs and the medium fits me very well. I really like the built in armour.

Exactly as described!
Replaced my favorite XL Joe Rocket extra heavy duty black leather coat without pads for this brown beauty. Fully padded, just as heavy duty as my old one and now that i've shruck my torso a bit, the Large fits me perfectly. I'm 5'10", 190lb.

Great fit, awesome look, huge value!
The jacket came in and I was happy to see that it is not shiny as it is in the product photos. It is a more traditional flat brown leather colour, which I believe is a more handsome look. I was really happy that this jacket came with a full set of respectable armour, along with a good selection of pockets and comfort options. The jacket does run a tad small. I originally got a large which is my size, but I decided to upsize to an XL and I am happy.

Can someone explain how the ventilation system on this? I was looking to get the Joe Rocket Richmond jacket but that seems to be discontinued.... would this Powerglide have better ventilation than the former Richmond?
I didn't have the Richmond, but the only real ventilation is an approx. 4" zippered opening on each upper arm. It can be toasty, but I wore it in +25°C at slow speeds for several hours without hating my life...
