Description
The Trans Canada™ 3.0 motorcycle jacket from Joe Rocket Canada® is constructed with a Rock Tex™ 600 Outer Shell Meta Sport™ System that features fully removable zippered sleeves and back panels that reveal free-air™ mesh underneath for increased airflow when you need it. A removable Dry Tech® waterproof liner is included to keep you dry when you get caught in the rain. For impact protection, the jacket comes fully equipped with removable Vault™ Web C.E. level 1 shoulder and elbow protectors as well as a Vault™ Web C.E. level 2 spine protector.

Good all around jacket
Bought this to replace my aging LG tour master jacket. Bought a LG in the Joe rocket as well. Fits slightly larger than the tourmaster which since I have had a few too many Blizzard's in the last few years, has a better fit on me.
Seems to be well built. There are a few threads out on the seams, not sure if they were just not trimmed, but other than that no build issues I can see.
With the water proof liner in, feels comfortable in 5°C Highway rides. Taking the liner out, opening vents and removing panels provides lots of options to keep comfortable as the temperature increases. Sleeves off and back panel off gives tones of air flow while keeping your armor intact.
Taking the sleeves and the back panel off are a bit of a chore. Sleeves can come off while the jacket is on, but to remove the back panel, or to reinstall, you'll need the jacket off to achieve. I don't particularly like the velcro connectors for the sleeves. While they keep the cuffs in place, the velcro does catch on the lining of the jacket when taking liners out. And do irritate the wrists if aren't secured just right.
Haven't been able to test the water proof abilities yet. Did a water bottle spray test on the liner and seems ok. I don't think it will fair well in a down pour though, but I'll update if I have the pleasure of testing that out.

Great fit, cool looks
Being that this is my very first motorcycle jacket I have no way to compare it to anything else. What I can say though is that upon receiving it trying it on and looking through all of its many cool features I absolutely love this jacket and I can't wait to get on my bike and ride with it.

Great Jacket, feel protected.
I really like this coat. I ordered a small and a medium to try for sizing. The small fet perfectly around the body but the arms were too short. The medium was perfect arm length and allows for a heavy sweater to be worn. Adjustment straps allow the medium to fit great by itself.

The Trans Canada 3.0 jacket has 3 outside pockets and 4 inside pockets.
The outside pockets include the 2 handwarmer pockets and a rear storage pocket.
