Not at all waterproof
I bought these pants for commuting in Vancouver, they boasted 100% waterproof and I liked the casual look. On my first ride out they lasted less than 5 minutes before water poured in at the crotch and knees, I emailed Joe Rocket because I believed they were defective. They sent another pair, they again leaked like a sieve almost instantly on a rain ride. Beyond that the fit is strange, the inseam is weirdly short and the waist fits very large.

Not 100% waterproof
Like the other reviewer, I bought this to use in rainy Vancouver. Fit wise, it was good for me, 5ft 5in w/30 inseam. And material is soft. I think it's meant to be worn mid-high waist thats why initially it feels loose fitting when worn below the the waist like most pants sold nowadays. As for rain protection, I have worn this on a 20 min commute with scattered showers and it worked ok. I've worn it after the recent rainfall here though and I was soaked waist down after a moderate rainfall on the same commute. I will try and treat this with DWR but I'm not confident that that will fix the problem.

Amazing customer service
Bought these pants. Never fully tried them out until the night before my licensing course. Right leg had mesh sewn backwards resulting in the knee pad behind my knee, not in front. Had no choice but to twist the mesh around to make it work. Added my original review lamenting my predicament. Fortnine contacted me directly, helped me with the warranty application process with Joe Rocket, and got a new pair in a few days! I can't say enough good things about Fortnine and Joe Rocket.

Manufacturer defects
Bought for my license course. Inside mesh fabric on the inside of right leg was sewn in backwards. Knee protection is in the back of my knee, not the front. Had to twist inside leg to make work. Wore them all weekend so I guess I'm stuck with them.

Does Joe Rocket own a tape measure?
Originally ordered these in a 32x32, and the 2.0's in a 32x34.
Both were worlds apart, and the 32x32 were closer to a 38x36. I'm 5'10", wear and 32x32 Jean normally.
Figured these ran super huge , so ordered a 30x30
They're short, super tight through my average sized thighs, embarrassingly tight on my white dude booty and then have 4 inchs extra around the very top very a belt would go - like a white tail fawn could crawl inside the top of your pants and hang out.
If you're fortunate enough to get a pair to fit, the quality seems OK, but I'm not going to chance a 3rd $7 return label to try again.

Extremely comfortable. Tight fit.
I am really happy with these pants. The fabric is really light, yet sturdy. It stretches so it is extremely comfortable while riding. Might be the most comfortable pants I've ever had, they don't even look like motorcycle pants so you can wear them casually.
The only con I've found so far is that it's a tight fit. I had to order a size above my own since it was too tight on the thighs and groin. One size above is just right and comfy.
Another con is that they're very warm under hot weather, since they are waterproof.
Haven't tested them in the rain yet. I wouldn't be surprised that they would leak a little (most riding gear does eventually). I don't really see that as a problem; I always carry rain pants anyway.
I truly recommend these pants.
