          Description

          Features:

          • Rubber cushioned sprockets have been widely used by the major Japanese motorcycle manufacturers since early 1990s to dampen the chain impact on the teeth of the front sprocket

          • Sprockets are heat-treated and bead-blasted to reduce material surface tension

          • Quality, design and OEM proven technology are the same as used for what is supplied to the motorcycle manufacturers

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Better stay with original front sprocket There were a small freeplay on the coutershaft when installed and torqued it. I installed it with grease on the countershaft to eleminate wear. After 10 000km i notice the coutershaft was wear out by the sprocket. I ordered a original OEM honda front sprocket and the quality control is 100% better with no freeplay when installed. Never cheap out on aftermarket sprocket it can cost you a 400$ countershaft at the end.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from JT Cushioned Front Sprocket Upgraded from stock front sprocket to cushioned front sprocket. Kept tooth count the same as stock(17 teeth). Much quieter chain rotation and smoother gear shifting. Hoping to extend life of entire drive train.

          Questions

          Item 645-400. Is this sprocket a 520 or a 525 pitch

          Asked by: Anonymous
Pitch depends on the vehicle. Simply enter the year, make and model of your bike on the product page to check fitment. The correct sprocket (with correct pitch) will then be recommended for your bike. In some case, you may have a choice between pitch sizes from the options list, if a conversion is available for that model.

Is this sprocket a direct replacment for the stock OEM sprocket requiring no shims or other adjustments to install correctly?

          Asked by: Hoggdoc
Mine bolted right up on my 2000 vfr800, only have about 50 km on it so far so can't say how well it will hold up.
