Does this attach directly to the existing valve stem? Or does it require installation from inside the tire sidewall and rim?
It requires installation from inside the rim so, it is somewhat possible to install it with tire only half of he rime, but isn't very easy and requires tire to give enough to hand be able to go there and use a wrench or pliers to remove the old valve and hold to the new. Easiest and most likely fastest way is to remove the tire totally and install it in clean rim.

how big is this specific stem ? cant seem to find mesurements so i dont know if it would fit my rims
8 mm diameter with safety cap.
