no leaking. going on what others have said about this filter. so far, so good. i gave it 3 stars because it didnt come with o-rings.

Nice filter
I go through at least 3 changes a year and I Bought my first K&N filter as my normal one wasn't available at the time. I will say it has a nice solid construction, speed nut on end is the way to go, won't slip as easy as the filter wrench, a little pricy but you get what you pay for.

good filter, never any issues
Been using these on my previous bike and now on my new bike as well, never had any issues. I really like the wrench nut feature which makes it much easier to install and remove.

Good build quality
Filter is well engineered and built sturdy. Only downside is that it does come with with the rubber 0 - rings needed for the v-star.

Catastrophic failure
Developed an enormous leak where the nut is attached to the filter. Lucky to get home without going down due to oil on my back tire. Will never buy K&N again.
