Restores to New
Cleaner is very effective dissolving out the dirt from the filter. The spray oil restores the (new) red look. The aerosol spray oil is easier than the squeeze bottle I have used in the past.

Wish I could find a generic at decent price but anything thats Branded you have to pony up the bucks, it was easy enough to use and filter was actualllt dirtier than it appeared. Make sure you let stand after oiling and even flip filter around a couple times so oil distributes evenly

Finally, not red.
I wanted the filter to be black to match the rest of the bike. Petty, maybe, but it looks better than the normal red. I prefer the squeeze bottle because it is easy to control the amount of oil deposited and then add if needed. The spray normally applies too much. Just make sure you clean the filter first even if new to change to black. Otherwise you will end up with too much oil.

What are the colour options refering to where it says "red for red filters black for black"?
K&N offers 2 styles of filter - red and black (dependant on vehicle application). You should order black for black filters and red for red filters
