Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tough as nails Installed 2016 on a Honda CB500XA that decided to take a nap on the way home last night. Left side bag took a good solid hit and a scrape, is scratched but otherwise completely fine. And I do like the toploader design - way better than clamshells.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product Exactly what I needed. Great quality and design. Wish that it was clearer what brackets and adapters were required. Kappa configuration site was helpful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from good bang for the buck Super easy to install, solid and perfect size for urban use (don't stick out too much of the bike) Zero effect on the handling of the bike.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Handy Cases. I have had these for over a month and I am pleased with them. I commute to work on the bike so these spare me the trouble of a backpack. They are not too big and bulky. The are waterproof, I have ridden in some heavy rain, washed the bike with them on and so far no water ingress. They remove quickly. Come with four keys in total. The locks were a bit stiff at first, but after a shot of silicone spray just fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No complaints yet! So fast I'm very happy with them. I needed longer bolts in order to mount them and retain my sissy bar. There's not the manufacturer's fault. Not as classy as leather bags, but very functional. So far I'm happy as a clam!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Svelte and functional ... Pros: * The K22Ns are assembled well. Product casting fit is very good. * They open and mount well and stay firmly mounted while riding. * They carry very easily when dismounted. They are lightweight. * They can be mounted in two directions. * They are slim and close fitting to the machine. * The locking hardware appears to work well. * For their size, they arguably look fashionably good. Cons: * The plastic is harder than most common top boxes. This could mean the material is more brittle. * The K22N ejection system is dismal. The unit should eject by pushing the key down when set in the correct position. This is an almost impossible task. One needs to open the side case lid and directly push down on the release.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from You get what you pay for. Great little budget beaters. Small, but I did not think I wanted anything too big. Until I went camping....oh well. I still like them. We’ll see how long they last. Always afraid the lids will bust off. When I received delivery the lock had fallen out of one. Luckily I found the C clip and managed to reinstall. Locks are stiff and require patience. . Monokey allows for reverse install. So I have them narrow side as leading edge. I like it better. Meh. I do really like them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great cases for my Versys - X. I purchased these cases a month ago, and have been pleased with them ever since. They are an excellent fit proportionally with the bike. They open and close smoothly and keep my gear dry.

Will they fit a 2019 yamaha r3?

Asked by: Fran99
No, unfortunately Kappa do not currently make tubular side frames for your 2019 Yamaha R3. The bike specific side frames are required to mount the cases.

Where is the locking mechanism on the bags (I don't see this in the picture provided)? Also is it a full face helmet that won't fit? Will a half helmet fit in the bags?

Asked by: Sammyj
The locking mechanism is behind the handle in this picture, facing upwards. I haven't tried fitting my half helmet in the bag, but I suspect it would fit.
