Great case for the money!
Have had this case for a couple months now. It will hold my helmet and other items, tough to get two helmets in there I’d say. Looks great on my bike and does exactly what it’s is meant to do …. Provide more cargo room. I gave it 4 stars as the latch is a little bit odd - takes some time to get used to. Well worth the money !

Nice case, pretty much what I expected. I like that it has room for two helmets, or one helmet plus a bunch of gear.

Seems Decent
Good size seems like decent quality for the price. The bolts that came with it were too short for my 2014 V-Strom 1000 stock rack so had to use my own bolts and trim some to fit. Otherwise install wasn't too bad.

Big top box
Got this a month ago and I’m waiting to mount it on my bike looks awesome. Latch is a bit fiddle, but great amount of room for 2 full face helmets.

will the universal mount included be all I need to put this on my 2009 Suzuki SV650 (ABS) ? Or will I need to purchase and install a luggage mounting system also?

can you put a backrest pad on the box for the passenger?
It's not recommended to lean onto the box, or have anything else installed onto it. It has a maximum weight load of 3kgs and shouldn't be used to brace your passengers.

Does the fitting kit/plate mount to a monokey plate?
No it does not. I removed my mono lock plate from my rear rack and used the mono key plate that comes with the k466 case.
