Love this box
I had been considering a slightly smaller box, but after much measuring and mocking-up, I went with the K49 for my Moto Guzzi V9 Roamer, and am very pleased with the decision. I chose not to run panniers, so the extra space in the box is welcome and it doesn't look too big on the bike. Fit and finish are excellent. It's a bit stiff to operate the first few times, but that smooths out with use. A1 product!

Looks and works great
I installed this on my Honda ST1300, and it looks like it came from the factory. Love the locking/unlocking and removal systems! They say it fits 2 full face helmets, but my helmet might be a bit larger than standard because it juuuust doesn’t quite fit sitting up.
My only complaint is that the mounting bracket (ordered separately) was a fair challenge to install, mostly because the “instructions” were just one complicated blowup diagram.

Questions
Does the Kappa K49 come with a mount plate (universal) or does the mounting hardware have to be purchased separately.
To mount this Monokey to your bike, you need to buy two other things.
First, a monorack that is specific to your bike model (it can be Givi or Kappa). Second, a monokey mounting plate (it can be Givi or Kappa). Very easy to install.
If you chose to buy a monolock top case instead, you need the same monorack and a monolock mounting plate, but the monokey are usually stronger.
