Perfect fit easy installation. It gives the topbox an improved look and character. Haven't tried it with a passenger yet.

Perfect Fit
Perfect fit. While I cannot comment on how it rides myself, I’ve been told that it’s far superior than it was without it. It definitely also serves as a great counterweight to better hold the lid open.
Installation was easy, cut out the included template, line it up with some tape, make two holes, and put in two bolts.
-I used an awl to make two little dimples to mitigate against the bit wandering on the slippery plastic of the case.
-Started with a small size bit and stepped up a couple times to get good holes, checking if the bolts fit when I got close, to see if I could get a tighter fit than the instructions prescribed.
-Deburred the holes, and added a little drop of silicone to the top of the bolt shaft and underside of the bolt head because I had some and wanted it as water-tight as possible.
Take your time lining it up and taping it on, and making sure the template is sits flat on the case before you drill. Took less than ten minutes start to finish.
