Not as Good as I Hoped
I installed the screen and bracket kit onto my 2010 BMW R1200GS. The braket kit, that has to be ordered separatly, contained backets with holes at each end that are too small for the fasteners. Four out of four holes needed to be enlarged.
The screen is a claimed 5" taller than stock so I was expecting that the top edge of this screen would be 5" higher than my stock screen. Not true. It is only 4" taller. I am 6' 3" and was hoping to alleviate all buffeting with this purchase. The screen is much better than stock. However the best screen location is at the lowest position so buffeting is not eliminated.
I happened to have an adjustable MRA screen that I have fastened to the top edge. It is hepling but I am still disappointed with the resulting buffeting
Maybe the new Puig would have been better.

I bought this to replace faded and tired OEM windshield. It was easy to install and it looks great.

quiet and effective
I have owned a number of bikes, and with most, I've tried at least one OEM or aftermarket windshield. Mostly, these have been a disappointment, and I have either gone back to the smallish original windshield, or I have trimmed the replacement -- primarily due to buffeting and turbulence. So, I had low expectations for the Kappa due to past experience. But it is not overly expensive, and I thought that if I end up trimming it, there would not be a big loss. Installation was quick, and fit was fine. However, the most amazing thing was the quiet, calm, and buffeting free envelope that was created -- significantly better than the stock R1200GS unit.
