good material and design
good fit and finish, good hard surface, seems very resistent againt knicks and scratches, you will need to buy the mounting kit for it but it’s worth it

Fits KLR650 and works well.
I purchased this windshield with the recommended hardware for mounting and the install was simple and everything fit perfectly on my 2015 KLR 650. I went on an 8000 km ride that was about 50/50 on/off road and the windshield held up just fine.
I am 6' 3" and the wind still hits my helmet but it is much better than the stock KLR screen for deflecting wind away from my upper body and head. This is not a good windshield for gnarly off-road riding as it is too tall. I broke the first one I purchased when I crashed riding single track on a steep rocky trail and hit the windshield with my upper body which snapped it off. This windshield is better for long multi-day dual sport rides when you are fully loaded and not as likely to hit the really tough trails.

Big improvement
I'm surprised this is not a more popular windshield. It makes a huge difference cutting down on the wind verses the stock one. I'm 6 ft with tall torso, the wind just hits the top half of my helmet now. I definitely recommend getting the supporting brackets, it adds a lot of strength. It is also very good quality.

Questions
I am 6'6. Would this windshield make any difference with my height?
I am 6' 3" and replaced the stock windshield with this one and it is much better at keeping the wind off my upper body which makes a big difference on those colder highway rides. I think it would work about the same for you keeping the wind off your upper body. The windshield only shields the lower half of my helmet - if I duck down a couple inches I am fully screened. I would guess that at 6'6 you will get wind over the whole helmet. Overall I think it would make a difference for sure.
The only thing I don't like about this windscreen is because it is so tall, sometimes when I am riding standing up, I smack my helmet/chin on it when ducking under branches or if I hit a big berm and push forward over the handlebars. Otherwise super glad I bought it.
