Rated 1 out of 5 by from Good but not for long I installed these and had them working for a grand total of 3 rides and then the left side stopped working. Really bummed about it because it’s a pain in the butt now to uninstall them. Guess I’ll just have to put both hands on the throttle side that still works lol.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Warm hands for now After initial installation, noticed wires leading into the resistor (for low setting) hanging on by a strand. Knowing this wouldn't last I contacted Fort9 and after sending photos they dealt with Kimpex on getting a replacement. Big shout out to Fort9 customer service and Kimpex for standing behind their products. Not too confident the replacement will last forever but good for now.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Save you money and buy dedicated grips. Installed these to the letter. I even used my expensive aviation grade solder sleeves to make the connections. Lasted about 2 weeks before the left side stopped working. Upon removal I had found the solder joints where the wires go into the heating element had melted so badly that the plastic cover over them had melted and looked burnt to a crisp. Lucky the wires pulled out of the solder before my bike burnt down!!! I tried resoldering but nope. Heating element must have burnt up too. Nothing. I suspect a defect with the one element because it was never as hot as the right side, and if you leave it on long enough without moving the right side gets TOASTY. All the extra energy not making it through the left must have went to melting the wires and nearly catching my grip on fire. Save yourself the headache and potentially an insurance claim. Save up and get a set of premanufactured heated grips.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for the price Easy to install, and I like that you can use factory hand grips with them. Only minor issue is the switch that is provided is designed to mount into a broad, flat surface. I just installed a toggle switch instead. Lots of heat.
