- High grade steel capping: Prevents heat and friction from degrading the epoxy attaching the magnets. Though extremely unlikely, if a magnet did ever come loose, it would remain in the sleeve preventing contact with the stator.

China made, improper machine tolerances.
Bought for my 2007 R1. I've read people having success with this Kimpex Rotor, however, the spacer didn't fit over the shaft - some people apparently sanded it down but I didn't feel comfortable doing this, nor should you need to if machined properly. Additionally, it fit too loosely when seated in the bearing. Returned for OEM
