Perfect Fit
Fit my 97 MXZ 670 perfectly. Had to clean the mounting surface on the tunnel to provide a good ground and added some silicone dielectric grease to the base to help with heat transfer before bolting it down. The electrical Connector plugged into the wire harness perfectly and my system voltage returned to normal 12v at idle and did not increase above 14.5v at higher rpm’s. Also had to replace the blown headlight and tail light bulbs caused by the old regulator not dumping the excess voltage to ground. I’m not a fan of aftermarket electronics but, this one did the trick and I’m back to riding.
