Amazing jacketGreat material quality &finish. Using it on a Yamaha FJR1300 full faired sport touring bike, and it vents tons of air: comfortable while riding in hot, humid 32 deg C temperatures. I use it with a First Gear 90W Heated Jacket liner and it gives me a great hot/cold temp setup.
All vent zippers are accessible with gloves while riding, which is not the case for all jackets. My only gripe is with the collar, which tends to push into your throat. Make sure you sit on your bike with it and see if you can live with it. I find it a minor annoyance, but depending on how it fits you, it may become an issue. At that price point, I tend to become picky and do not tolerate much.

Not worth the costI really like the look of the hi-vis of this jacket, but that's about the only positive comment I have. The collar area is terrible. It leaves a huge opening around ones neck, except in the adam's apple where it digs in and rubs hard. The collar opening is adjustable with a rear-facing drawstring, but that's not the answer either. It shouldn't be hard to make an appropriate-sized collar opening that doesn't rub you raw. Also, the collar snaps are awkward to use and don't belong. A serious re-design of the collar area is necessary.
Also, the arms are too tight (diameter). I am 5'-7" tall and weigh 150# and I got the small. It fits great in the torso, waist, and sleeve length, but the arms (sleeves) diameter are adjusted as loose as they go and still my skinny arms are tight in the sleeves with anything more than a tee shirt underneath. If I'd wear a medium the neck opening would be even bigger, and the jacket would fit too loose in the torso and waist.
The tight arm openings and the awful collar area are popular complaints on other sites reviews as well. I'm sure Klim is well aware of these issues and I'm thinking a re-designed Apex 2 is in the future. I am returning this jacket.

Top notch jacket.I bought this jacket a month ago. Wanted a jacket that could do it all. It delivers. Excellent venting. Excellent water repellency. Fits big. So easy to wear thermal under jacket. Would recommend to anyone looking for good sport/touring jacket.

;) Large 6 pied 180 livre taille parfaite.

Very nice!Venting works well and it fits well. My only complaints are that the inside pockets are all rather useless sizes and the bulky velcro cuff flaps are difficult to fit inside a glove gauntlet in cooler weather.

Great JacketI have only had the jacket for a.month but am pleased with the appearance and quality.
My only comment is that the collar is quite stiff with no soft lining so that it tends to rub a little on the front of the neck.
I am hoping that the material will soften with use and alleviate this issue.

Great QualityGreat coat, but I spent a $100.00 at tailor shop to have the collar modified. In stock form it is useless. If you don't mind having the collar flap open all the time, it is OK for that. When you do manage to find the snaps to close it, it rubs on your neck and hurts like heck after awhile. The collar will not close if you have a garment underneath that comes up to your neck. I have skinny arms and it fits OK. If you have large muscular arms, it might be tight or you may not get a base layer on. I am 6'1", 45" chest, 35" shirt sleeve, 190 lbs Bought an XL, good fit. Electric jacket underneath makes it pretty tight and as previously mentioned, in stock form the collar will not reach it's snap point. As always FortNine is great to deal with.
