Rated 5 out of 5 by from Klim Forecast Jacket So many rain/wind jackets are cheap material and flap in the wind. The Klim Forecast is worth the extra cost and should last for a long time. It’s very comfortable and the way the neck fits up under my helmet makes it a great fit. I recommend this jacket and wear it over my Klim induction jacket. Klim makes great stuff!!

              Questions

Hi, I have the Klim induction jacket in an XL, would I order the Klim Forecast Jacket in and XL as well if I want to wear this on top of the induction jacket?

              Asked by: Luigi
Exactly. The Klim Forecast Jacket is made to be worn on top of another jacket, so with a little more room. It is recommended to take your normal size.

So the whole point of Gore-Tex is being waterproof AND breathable when you are exerting yourself. It seems to me that a non breathable material would not only be cheaper but also do a better job of being windproof and at least as good at being waterproof?

              Asked by: Weestromrider
The problem with non breathable material is that it does not allow moisture out and results in sweating. It can rain on warm days and this jacket does enable some air exchange for comfort. I purchased this jacket to wear on days when it is raining lightly as well as I do commute regularly to work. It is highly visible and good to wear at dusk or night driving as well. To me, it has been a very good investment.
