A Solid buy
I grew tired of either wearing my technical riding pants or risking it with Levis jeans so after much research I decided on the Klim K Fifty 1 jeans and so far have no regrets. Although not and hopefully never tested for their protective features I can say that the fit was good (save and except a 1 inch hem and the local seamstress). Make sure to use the measurement table - I ordered a size 34 and 36 and kept the 34 (which gave me the boasting rights to say that I now fit into a size 34 pants...). I would highly recommend that you use the Klim measurement chart - it was spot on. The return of the size 36 was hassle-free and the jeans are comfortable and look like regular jeans. It took a few adjustment cycles to get the knee protector height both right for walking and for riding but I managed to find a good compromise position leaning toward more safety in the riding position rather then comfort while walking around - but let's face it, these are more for riding than walking. I have recommended these already to a few riding mates.

Great riding jeans
Have had these about a month. Very comfortable, flexible but substantial armour for knees, hips and tailbone. Little pricey but how much is your skin worth ? Very happy with this purchase.

Great Pants
Agonized over whether to spend this much but worth every penny. Comfortable and nice to have an alternative to chaps. Knee armour rides a little low when standing/walking but are perfectly positioned when sitting/riding. While they fit pretty much bang on with "regular" jean sizes, ordering the next size up is probably a good idea for the not-so-skinny of us to allow room for thermal underwear. You can always cinch the belt a bit tighter but hard to ride holding your breath!

Great Fit & Look Great
Great riding jean. Bought for my Harley and you can't tell they are armored. Not much for venting, but extremely comfortable. You can buy cheaper ones, but you won't get this quality

Complete protection in a VERY comfortable product
I bought the Klim K Fifty 1 motorcycle pants based on a large number of extremely positive reviews on the internet. I'm glad I did. These riding jeans are extremely comfortable, and the protection they offer is outstanding. When I get off my bike, even other riders have absolutely no idea that I'm wearing fully armoured pants—they look just like a pair of Levis. In fact, I like them so much that I'm seriously considering picking up a second pair in the lighter denim colour.

Great jeans if you can justify the price
Lots of options at this price tag, these definitely look like they will protect you in the crash but there are loads of good alternatives that offer same level of protection without breaking the bank, Resurgence brand jeans come to mind, and really if you need high level of protection you can pick up decent quality leathers for the price.
If you do decide these are for you note that these defiantly fit a bit baggy so size down if you prefer normal fit. These are definitely high quality, that being said they are made out of thick material with kevlar lining so they are quite bulky.

Great Fit, Comfortable, and very stylish!!
I love these jeans. I was hesitant to pull the trigger because of the price but they are worth every penny. They have an awesome mesh liner that lets the jean breath so even in 30+ weather they are not too hot.
The fit is bang on with my wrangler boot cut jeans, I take a 38 and the 38 Klim fit exactly the same. It's hard to tell that I'm even wearing anything other than a boot cut jean.
The D30 armour is an added bonus. My only complaint is the shape of the knee pad is a little bothersome when walking, but as soon as I get on the bike it falls right into position and wraps around my kneecap.

Well Fit, Durable Jean
Well I have a mesh textile pant that works in the heat of summer I wanted something for more normal and cooler temperatures. After doing some research including watching Fortnine's videos which featured these pants I was set to purchase. Sizing is a bit strange to work out so make sure check that out diligently. I am 6'-1" and 185lbs at the time of buying with a slim build that wears 36" waist, 32" inseam pants. During the pandemic I have put on about 10lbs and am now approaching the need for 38" pants but these jeans still fit fine.
I opted for the 34 size as this offered the correct length - but be aware that they will shorten up on your leg when your knees are bent. While you can compensate by buying the "tall" size - that may lead to them dragging or being baggy when standing. I wasn't concerned about losing coverage near the ankle as I wear full sport boots.
These are fairly good in the cold and I was okay with them on a short ride in 4°C weather on a sunny day - the Kevlar lining helps for that.
One of the great thing with these jeans is they are not conspicuous - they don't look special from the exterior, which will be great for riding to work once the weather warms up again. Quality appears very high and they are quite heavy - which is good for protective equipment.

Questions
Are these jeans waterproof?
No these are not waterproof. Also sizing is on the large side.

What is the inseam of the standard and tall sizes?
Hi,
You can find the inseam sizes for Tall, Regular and Short on the size chart.
The size chart is located right above the sizing drop-down menu.
Thanks!

Would these fit over Alpinestars Corozal boots?
The Klim K Fifty 1 Riding Jean should fit over these boots. I have these in size 36 tall and find the legs quite wide. I also think these pants fit on the large side.
