Enabled me to tune to the correct size for me
I have always needed a size XL helmet in any manufacturer model I have tried or owned. But my Klim K1R felt a bit looser than typical AND transmitted more wind noise. Klim uses only 2 "shell" sizes and changes the helmet size via the head liner and cheek liners. So, I tried the size "L" head liner and cheek liners, and although they initially felt a little snug, they are softer than most other brands of helmet liners, and compressed a bit during the very first ride. The resulting fit is great AND quiet!
