2022 Klim Kodiak Jacket
I have been waiting for a proper Klim touring jacket with a neck collar of decent height and here it is. I have a few hundred kilometers on the jacket and, overall, I am happy with my purchase. The storm collar is brilliant and one of the reasons why I bought this jacket. Klim is visibly still learning the requirements of the road touring world but this is a step up. The neck is not really adjustable as advertised, there is just a short velcro strip. The sinching string is of limited use in my opinion. In general (and I do not have a large neck) the neck collar is too tight. A longer velcro strip is much needed when used with the provided down jacket and a neck tube. The sleeve cuffs are too tight to fit my go-to winter gloves underneath. This area should be either slightly larger or elasticized. Shame that this jacket only gets an A rating although I bet it is as safe as a AA. Overall I am happy but there is room for improvement.

How water proof is this suit ? How many hours in downpour will it last ?
As per the manufacturer, the Kodiak Jacket is waterproof and windproof due to the Gore-Tex material. Regardless of how long you're in the rain, it will keep you dry.
