Klim Quality
The Good: The pants are of excellent build and typical of higher end quality we can trust with Klim products. They are fully waterproof and have the top level armour. The tall version have plenty of length for someone requiring a 36 or longer inseam. The zippers are robust and are fully waterproof. The leather knees are a great feature to help grip your tank when standing.
The Bad: The European sizing runs on the small side. I normally wear a 36-38 waist, but the 56T (40-42 as stated by the conversion chart) was a tight fit, with very little adjustment. This is the 2020 model. I understand the 2021 pant has stretch material in the pant for increased mobility and comfort. The 2020 model is stiff with little room for movement in the upper pant ad crotch areas. The pants only have 2 front and 2 rear upper vents. On hot days, the mid thigh and lower tend to get quite warm. I have the Badlands Pro jacket, and the ventilation is awesome in hot weather.
A good buy if on sale, but are in a price group where you may consider other manufacturers that make pants for the North American market that have more room in them. Perhaps more riding will break the pants in so they may be a bit more comfortable.
