Description

The Klim Switchback Cargo Pants have the pockets to bring all of your crap. Karbonite micromesh allows air to permeate freely to help avoid swamp butt. Zippered outer thigh vents control ventilation as needed. DWR treatment isn't waterproofing per se, but it keeps water beading to minimize saturation. D3O LP1 hip and knee armor soak up impacts. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great pants They fit great. True to size. I find the pockets great!! The front pockets are very deep and I carry everything in them. No complaints. Klim is a great brand hands down! Nay sayers should just return them if they don't meet your needs!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A solid buy FIT: I'm 175 lbs, 6 feet tall, and somewhat in shape. These pants fit true to size like regular jeans do for me. I ordered the 32 regulars and the waist fits great. My inseam is a 30 with normal pants and these come as a 32, the normal amount of excess I deal with when buying 32 x 32. The nice thing about these is that the extendable reflective ankle bands tighten up perfectly around boots. Armor: Knee and hip pads are decent. Adjustment of the knee pads is quick and easy thanks to two velcro points on each pad. Hip armor is barely noticeable, was almost worried it didn't come with any it fit so well. Belt: Measure the belt you're going to use before pulling the trigger on these. The loops are 1.5 inches in width. I cobbled together a nylon webbed belt with a Raptor 2 Tactical buckle that works pretty good. Quality: Good quality materials from the fabrics to the zippers. Functionality: Comfortable to ride and hike in. With all of the zippers closed I was comfortable riding in -2 C conditions with only boxers underneath. With vents open, while walking in the same conditions I was cold quickly. Have yet to try them in the summer but I assume they will do well. Pocket: So many pockets! However, beyond putting paper items like a map or a couple credit cards in the front thigh pockets they're not too useful. To be fair they could never be exceedingly practical without being baggy but in a pinch they'll work. Overall: Just what I was hoping for.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from room for improvement I bought these a couple of months ago and have spent some time in them. The good, fit is nice, armor is adjustable, they wipe clean with a damp cloth. The Not So Good, the Pockets are a joke, good luck putting anything in them as they are flat and don't expand and the fabric does not stretch, we are talking about the Thigh pockets, they definitely cut a few corners in order save on the costs when designing the thigh and rear pockets. I like the pants, but feel a little cheated based on the price verse functionality.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Klim Vs Value = disappointment The pants fit but the design is low budget , the pockets are basically useless, leg pockets provide zero space, a cargo style pocket would have afforded some usability, the bottom hem has started to melt, once again, poor design and inappropriate material choice. Klim at one time was a good brand, those day are long gone.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Adventure Riders Beware These pants seem great except for one glaring issue - The zippered lower legs will not fit over an Adventure style or motorcross style boot. In contrast, the Klim Outrider pants with no lower zippers fit over my Adventure boots just fine. Fitment seems spot on, I wanted to keep these pants but I refuse to wear tiny street style booties.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not that impressed Definitely a late summer pant, hot and stiff material that’s not breathable and the pockets are strange and very small. I fit a 32-34 bought the 34 and they’re fairly snug in why waist and butt, but the leg is baggy, it’s not a casual pant and it’s not an inside your riding boot pant either. I recommend trying something else for the price tag on these.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from No complaints I am 5'8", 38 waist, 30" inseam and 38 regular fits well, could use a little off the cuff but I have no complaints. I recommend suspenders since these are on the heavy side. Pockets are good, all zips work well, material is nice, armor positions can be adjusted, ventilation OK, as might be expected.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great pant, no easy way to hem though. Pants fit great and exactly as they should. Great in the wind and the rain. Only setback is that the pants can't easily be hemmed due to the zipper and elastic at the bottom, if you're willing to lose those features go for it. They are definitely a tall fit. I'm usually a 30-32 and these are easily 36-38 inseams. Lots of ventilation and storage.
