Not worth tje $
The sizing is at least one full size smaller than standard amd the hip padding does not cover the hip, it stops right in the middle of the high/contact point where your hip would hit the ground first on a typical fall.

The chamois will take getting used to.
I ordered the pants but they are just the shorts (Klim Tactical Shorts-2019) with the lower leggings. I considered these pants for use under my road racing track leathers. The features describe a "soft, absorbent seat chamois." The chamois is shaped like a bicycle seat and is pretty thick (see photo). Padding is about 15mm thick. As a test, I sat on my spin bike. That thick chamois is amazing on a bicycle seat. Pretty much unnoticeable when on my '05 SV650S seat. HOWEVER, when off the SV, the thick chamois is pretty noticeable. Feels like I've got something "down there" that I have not felt since I was in diapers (I can't actually remember, but I can imagine -- if you get my drift). I also ordered the Klim Tactical Protective Pants (distinguished from the 2019 shorts on the website by the different shaped padding) because the Tactical Protective Pants (& shorts) description reads "thin suede texture chamois." I went with the "thin suede texture chamois" because it was less noticeable when off the bike. Something I'm pretty sure I can get used to once I reprogram my brain's reaction to the sensation of feeling down there. Nice materials and feel like a good quality product notwithstanding the 2029 model's thick chamois' feel. I am 41" at hip and 38" belt line, 185 lbs, 5'11" and the large fits perfectly on both models. Best to call Fortnine for help ordering as the size chart for bottoms is in numbers but the ordering options are in S,M,L, etc.

comfy
seems good, very comfortable - the stretch I think makes the sizing a big smaller (I'm 6'3" 180lbs usually a LG, but the MD is better). Can wear under moto jeans fine. Padding seems well placed, and will hopefully stay in place in a spill.
Tried the Icon version of this - super uncomfy - I think because they also have kevlar for slide where this doesn't - so better for comfort, but still need to wear something overtop for slide/abrasion.

Questions
Will it protect you from a slide?
Under proper bottoms like Kevlar jeans, or on dirt, with proper MX or ADV pants it should be fine. If it’s exposed then the thin mesh would not survive a slide. The poron is well-placed and covers well but is comfortable to wear. It is not cumbersome and replaces my hip and tail pads in my ADV pants.
